Jango Fett, BH
2x Rauntaun
6x Ugo

9 activations

The goal is to compete with the new Jedi builds.

The Ugo's move upfront (if my opponent is playing force pushers). The 2x Rauntaun's can mobile and take out my opponent fodder (Ugo's). When the Jedi come out to play on turn 2-3 (after building up enough FP) Jango can come out to play.

The best would be after activating all my Ugo's, I move up both Rauntaun's to within spotter distance from the big Jedi threat. Jango steps out and takes a shot at +18 (unique Jedi). I win init (recon) and attack twice at +22 att for 50 dam (20 base +10 Jedi hunter + 20 spotter).

Jango's sniper means the Rauntaun's don't block LOS for my shots.

What do you think?

It's a cool idea. I'd like to see how it plays out.

Relying on the two Rauntauns to clear a path for non-Accurate Jango to shoot the Jedi might be risky. You might end up wasting Jango's attacks on non-Unique, non-Force users, depending on how much fodder you have to clear out.

And you have to pull off your best case scenario to match the damage output of Bane (two attacks at 50dmg each). And after you do that once, at least one of your Spotters is probably going down (because they're starting a round already activated and within 6 of one or more Jedi).

Obviously, the advantages to this over Bane are the init control and Jango's ranged attacks and survivability (through Flight).

Again, I want to see how it actually plays.

On an open map, this should do quite well. Against Bane, I wouldn't worry too much. Bane has to hit Jango 3 times (w/ Rage, 4 times without) for the kill, so if your own Ugos and the Rauntauns can slow him down enough, Jango should be able to pummel him decently along the way. Careful placement should allow you to get 2 Spotter shots in one round, and one in the following round (basically keeping the Rauntauns close to target, but far enough apart to avoid Sweep/Assault/etc. on both of them). You'd also want to keep the Rauntaun's close enough to each other that no matter where your opponent moves to in order to kill one of the Rauntauns, they will still be within 6 squares of the other one.

Your best bet is going to be a map with a very open center (Mustafar, Deathstar, maybe Mos Eisley). Certainly an interesting idea.
