If you're playing a skirmish with more than one opponent, do you get to count each opposing squad's closest character with cover as a legal target if you don't have accurate shot?

For multi-player, each group has to make their own decisions on some things because there are quite a few holes in the rules. The question you asked is one of those holes, so it depends on the exact type of multiplayer game and depends on the group. But we always play that targeting rules apply to each opponent separately. So your legal targets are:

* Only adjacent enemies if there are any

If no adjacent enemy then the legal targets are:
* All enemies without cover
* And the closest enemy from each other squad

(That's a 'yes' to your question based on how we play.)

Excellent. I checked both my rulebooks and it wasn't in there, so I'm glad that our table's solution is the same as yours. :)
