Great work Lefty! I especially like your Grievous, better that any of the WotC ones. He looks really bada**! And Satele Shan is really good as well, how did you make her?
I'm going to use this Grievous as a proxy for any and every Grievous I ever use from now on.
I started with a Twi-lek Bodyguard and a Jedi Crusader for the head. I cut deep wedges in her armpit, inside of her elbow, and wrist to bring her arm closer to her chest; otherwise the lightsaber hilt would've been too long. I used epoxy for her hairbraids, shoulderpads, the ridge on her back connecting the shoulderpads, wristpads, the silver thing on the band on her left upper arm, lightsaber ends and buttons, belt buckle, coattails of her dress, the edges of her gloves near her elbows, kneepads, armor bits on her boots, and the gold rings around her thighs. I got her two pocket-satchels from a Heavy Clone Trooper (Jedi Academy). The soft blue lightsaber blades are from acrylic rods I got at GenCon. It was kind of tricky trying to figure out what colors to mix for her dress, but I shot for a mix of brown and grey and it turned out perfectly.
I couldn't get the camera I was using to take a decent picture of her until mid-afternoon when I put her in direct sunlight shining through my window. The results are quite beautiful, I think.
