This Separatist droid appeared in the MedStar novels... Used a sort of prototype weapon that caused intense pain without any actual injury to the target, that eventually killed the target through nervous system overload.

Agonizer Droid
Cost: 19

HP: 60
Defense: 16
Attack: 6
Damage: 10

Droid
Agonizer - Replaces attacks, range 6; targeted living enemy takes 10 damage for every 2 squares moved. This effect may be ignored as long as the affected character is next to an ally with restorative abilities or Force powers.

Wanted to make it hurt to even move, unless a medic was next to you after you got shot. Should be nice to jam someone with flight or something like that :D

And not to forget the weed-cutter; a smart bomb that exploded like a fragmentation grenade behind enemy lines. Also from MedStar.

Weed-cutter Droid
Cost: 15

HP: 30
Defense: 12
Attack: 0
Damage: 0

Droid
Flight
Launch - During its turn, an adjacent ally may choose not to move for the rest of the round; this character may then immediately move up to 24 squares. At the end of its movement, this character is defeated.
Fragmentation - If this character is defeated, all living characters within 6 squares take 40 damage.

Fragmentation is worded as such because the novels noted that the blades weren't tough enough to cut through industrial alloys, but were just good enough to pierce armor.

And a cute thing I always thought the Seps never had - a droid which used melee for some nasty moves. Namely, the Grapple Droid.

Grapple Droid
Cost:

HP: 80
Defense: 18
Attack: 6
Damage: 30

Droid
Melee Attack
Close-Quarters Fighting
Grapple - An enemy attacked by this character may not move until the end of this character's next turn. Abilities and Force powers that enable counter-attacks are nullified while Grapple is in effect.

Sort of like a droid that'll give you a Full Nelson - and Djem-So isn't going to get you out of this pickle.

Made the movement lock last until the Grappler's next turn so that enemies can't move away until it has activated and possibly gone after someone else.
