Loving the Master and Warrior. People might ask why the Master gives Soresu instead of Niman, but it makes sense as instructors were more apt to use Niman and teach Soresu.

The Exile seems a bit under-costed and I'll assume Mimicing Style is meant to be within 6. Force Valor seems redundant with the second part of the CE and I don't know if I've ever known anyone to use Force Whirlwind, but I guess it's like a grenades for Jedi. Just feels like the character needs to be trimmed a bit.

Perhaps a re-wording of Mimicing Style might be necessary as well.
Suggestion:

Mimicing Style (At the start of this character's turn, this character may select one Special Ability whose name contains Style from a character within 6 squares. This character is considered to have that ability for the rest of the skirmish, or until another is selected.)

Just replaced "use" with "select" for a bit of clarification.

Not going to lie, the Jedi Master was mainly to give the OR a psuedo Wedge/Riekan without abusing the TBSV. Nothing more than that. And I do like the idea of the Instructor, having a style, just to get it out there more.

Darth Maladi is a cool peice to have. Her and Darth Krayt will be a deadly combo if somehow her attack could be boosted. Tripple with Virulent poison is not bad for a person with stealth, 21 def and a good amount of HP.

Jedi Warrior is awesome! Twin with Riposte = great! I can definetly see these guys geting used with Jedi Instructor. Add in Malak, DlotS and you have a a really solid melee interference peice.

I really like the Sith Stalker. Very cool stand alone piece to have. I like the fact they have Riposte and Rage. Definetly some cool ideas to make people regret getting close up to mini. Low defense will hurt, but the same could be said about the Chameleon droid. Keep up the great work on the stats for the mini's! I'm so hoping they make this into a Virtual set.

Maladi is okay, pretty much because she is a commander. She doesn't work with Krayt or Malak, so the main ways to boost her damage output are gone. And the Stalker has low defense to compensate for how high his attack can get, and how good Cloaked is for a Melee piece. And with the Warrior, remember, he will be stuck at +9 if you use the Instructor or the Exhile.

I have just been having fun making cards. I also really like lots of these minis that Sithborg posted so I thought I might start making these minis into actual cards so we can get an idea of how they look. Great job with these minis Sithborg. Let me know if you prefer that I do not make these cards I will have no problem stopping. :)

I have been busy with lots of various things, so sorry it took me a while, but here are the New Republic minis. I really like K'kruhk. Mettle, MotF 2, avoid defeat, and 150 hit points make him "beasty!" He is going to be an excellent damage absorber! 30 damage, Ambush, and double attack give him some solid offense. And he seems to be priced well.

With the Jedi Pilot, for 16 points you get grenades 30, 60 HPs, and force sense! Not too bad.

Rebels:

Ben Kenobi is pretty similar compared to the unleashed version. Light tutor and his CE will be an excellent force source for Luke, Hoth Pilot as well as Commando Luke. The question will be if he is worth it for his cost and that will greatly depend on the focus of the squad. I can see him working very well with Commando Luke due to him gaining triple and already having GMA.

Ben Kenobi is better than the unleashed version in terms of his CE, force heal, light tutor, and lightsaber duelist, but he is lacking with his attack and the lack of force repulse, making his focus for squads more tech/defense rather than offense.

Nice pieces.
However, I have something to comment:
->Beasty Vader- I assume that he is supposed to be GMLS but imperial, right?
->Appo is a imperial char, but he has Order 66. So - can I use him without having Emperor Palp, Sith Lord? I know, that he was a clone and all that. Also, I would increase his attack to 10-> Cody from GAW costs 23 points and has 11 att and similar (in case of number) of SA's.
->How about giving VSA,JH Renewal? If no he basically dies very fast, without realy doing some dmg.
->Love Vader's Fist Officer but....
-> hate Vader's Fist Stormtrooper! With those stats they are pretty much useless! I would leave Synergy, increase attack, give i dunno- twin? And of course increase cost to ....9, 10?

Overall I like this whole set :stormie2:

Sort of leaves behind the goal of the Vader's Fist Trooper. He is there to help the 501st Legion Stormtroopers get their Squad SA's off. And quite honestly, Synergy should be worth at least 2 atk. I don't want to obsolete the Stormie. Add in they can also get a few fun other CE's because of their name. Mainly, Vader, SA.
