Saw this old creation of mine on Bloomilk, so was wondering just how viable it might be for today's minis arena:

37 Aurra Sing
37 Grand Admiral Thrawn
27 ASN Assassin Droid
23 Noghri Commando
18 Moff Nyna Calixte
17 Storm Commando
8 Mas Amedda
8 Wicket
14 Aqualish Assassin x2
8 Gran Raider x2
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(200pts. 13 activations)

Was trying to run a Force-immune Kouhun Infestation.

Aurra and the SS gang would function to keep people from advancing towards the ASN, while they themselves are somewhat difficult to eliminate.

Thoughts?

I just think with so many characters capable of doing 60+ damage or more in a turn WITHOUT a save, Kohuun Infestation will never be viable.

I still think Kouhun is still viable since it doesn't require LOS. Sure 60 damage is kinda common now, but also realize that there is also an increase of evade. Kouhun is good in cloak squads becuase it makes the opponent be afraid of hiding behing corners, where GMA can't get them. Of course there are ways to get around it, such as sending a sacrificial uggie to take the potential infestation, but the ASN isn't just about KI. It also has Programed target and I've seen it used well in GGDAC squads with that accurate shot and +4 morea attack against and enemy mini you get to pick. The Seps have very little access to Accurate shot when it comes to droids.

This squad sounds good to me. Aurra Sing should be good in this squad and I like the idea of having the force buble to protect against FPRR's.

When I saw the title, I was expecting see Zam Wesell in there with Nyna :P

Interesting use of the bubble. I could maybe see putting an R7 in there to use a door to help control who the nearest enemy is for Kouhun...

Thanks for the comments :)

@ The_Celestial_Warrior - I know, but was wondering how viable an Ysalamiri-supported KI would be :P

@ obikenobi1 - True... But KI does not supersede SS-type abilities :D

@ swinefield - It was actually inspired by a Zam/Thrawn/Nyna squad LOL Played against that one, and wondered if the ASN would work with Thrawn.

Kouhun still uses targeting rules and has to be on a living so just have a mouse within 12 closest target and it doesnt go through walls so I dont see how Kouhun will work.
