GOWK 55
Shaak Ti JM 47
Captain Rex 33
Dash Rendar RS 28
R2 Astromech 9
Caamasi Noble 5
R7 8
Ugh Demolitionist x5 15

or
GOWK 55
Shaak Ti JM 47
Captain Rex 33
R2 Astromech 9
Caamasi Noble 5
Geo Assassin 21
Sev 16
Youngling 5
Ugh Demo x3 9

The first squad is probably the best version. More firepower and double door override. I think Shaak Ti is great with GOWK and makes up for what he lacks against melee. I really like the Geo/Caamasi combo and you get a mobile accurate shooter with Sev but the damage output is lacking. Suggestions?

I personally would drop Rex for Dash in the 2nd build. The +4/+4 is really nice and GOWK tends to create situations where you can get Oppo off pretty easily since most people usually try to attack him early.

Love Shaak Ti with GOWK though...talk about brutal!

I suppose you could easily do something like Shaak + GWOK + Dash + Zuckuss. That might work well..

Shaak can be pretty nasty with gowk she can practicly outduel anyone with that +4/+4 i do almost think that 2 jwm are better in a way if you wanted to do melee.

Yeah, I think all things considered, I'd rather have Ferus and a JWM instead of Shaak and one of your other fodder pieces. More HP overall, BG for GOWK, more controllable damage output (Assault and Dark Temptation vs. Cunning), and with the +4/+4, the JWM is almost as tough as Shaak as well. Plus, the JWM doesn't get affect by Bounty Hunter, which is a big bonus right now, IMO, in the 'age of Zuckuss', lol.

I like the idea overall though. I would tend to agree about going with Dash over Rex, but the fact that you've got the Sev in there makes Rex more desirable. Actually, the 2nd build, but with Dash and Ferus instead of Rex/Geno/Sev might not be a bad idea at all either.

That's the problem with 200 points. Too many combinations, sometimes. Can be tough to optimize.

Well tonight I would up running this:
GOWK
JWM x2
Rex
Dash
R2 Astro
Camaasi
ugh demo x4
rodian brute x2

Did really well going 3-0. The only real test came against Boris who was play a GOWK, Zukuss, JWM, Dash squad. We played on ravaged base and I was rolling hot he wasnt making saves . I think two JWM was better than Shaak Ti. Still needs plenty of tinkering and testing

I played a little more aggressively than I normally do against you, but watching you roll double digits with Rex against my JWMs while I rolled single digits on saves sure didn't help. I should have just gone for the 2-point win (if it had come to that) while I made you come to me instead of chasing your pieces down only to get slaughtered. I finished 3rd, but only because I got paired down in round 2 (meaning I had to play the 0-1 player, for people who don't follow Swiss lingo). If I had played the guy who finished second, I'm pretty sure I could have beat him with my squad.

EDIT: By the way, my squad was
55 General Obi-Wan Kenobi
52 Jedi Weapon Master x2
35 Zuckuss, Bounty Hunter
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Scoundrel
10 Camaasi Noble x2
09 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
08 R7 Astromech Droid
03 Ugnaught Demolitionist

I felt like it was missing something throughout the entire tournament but I really don't know what I could change. Jason's version left Zuckuss on the sideline, but I believe that to be a mistake at an event like the regional or the championship. The ability to lock down one key character per round, to remove it from participation in the game, that is too important not to have. The only game where Snare Rifle didn't really mean all that much was in the one against Jason. And that would include all of the games I played with him in the original "Return of the King" squad I posted last month.
