you should have 2-3 starting feats, 2, 4, and 6 level feats and 3, and 6 bonus feats IIRC but the book is not anywhere me.

Updated Bru'hathor with 1 level of Gladiator.. look out world..

The Starter of Smash, The Originator of The Oblivator.. now rolls (in best case scenario) +19 for 4d10s +25!

However, updated to Med Armor, so he has a speed of 4 during combat meh.. targets better be within 8!

Added ME level2:Field-Created Weapon 1200 credits and Double attack:rifles
Yay I can create weapons. It still doesnt make sense that I can create a weapon as a standard action and it takes a standard to change modes. Anyway we can do a house rule if you want to change modes or weapons its a move action. I guess you can say using a Field Created weapon can be a full round action but that really hurts the ME class if you do that. They really dont have the best talents and Field Created weapons is what makes up for it. I am pretty limited since we are playing in the kotor era and their is a pretty good limit on what guns I can make till level 4-5 of ME.

Hey everybody. Behold your GM announces rules from on high.

Critical failure of weapons:

Whenever a natural 1 is rolled on any attack immediately roll a 1d20 and consult this chart:

1-18: Nothing happens
19-22: Your weapon "jams". Make a DC20 mechanics check as a standard action to repair it.
23-25: Your weapon has been damaged and is useless for the rest of the encounter (if I don't decide to have it destroyed).
26+: Your weapon fails in a spectacular fashion. Not only is it destroyed, but roll whatever damage the weapon deals against yourself.

Now for the kicker. For each modification stacked on the weapon add a +3 to the roll. So for instance a vibro axe with standard, a tech specialist, and sith poison on it will add +9 to the roll.

Mainly this question is to Matt and Bill.

I want to buy a droid for The Gungan and Bane. I understand he could steal some of our xp but if thats the problem there has to be a work around. He doesnt have to get full xp just enough to level up every few months or so. But I really would like a droid so I can take more levels in ME and use some of the talents. He would be useful at aiding use the computer and Mechanics to Bane and I. I understand Matt might kill the droid but o well. I can take the bodyguard talent from ET if that starts to be a problem and some other things from ME. The Droid would be mine and Banes. He wont have to come on all the missions just ones where we would think he would be useful.

The droid would be a slicer and an ok attacker. I was thinking a second level droid but medium. He could be a tiny droid that can fit in my backpack or He could be a fold up that can fit in my backpack. That could be a way around the XP and not dieing. He could be with us at all time but he would only have to come out when needed. I was thinking more like he could be a slicer/ attacker but either works.I think if the droid was mainly a melee attacker would be cool I dont know how that would work with not that many hps.NO HE WILL NOT HAVE MELEE REACH 40. He will have reach 1 if he is mainly a melee attacker.

So what level can I make this droid so he can come on missions level up every few months or so and can stand on its own in battle? Can he be 3/4ths my level like minions?

My thinking here is that he wont be leveling up as fast as we will so giving him a higher level to start out with might be a good idea. He will start out as a non-heroic character so he wouldnt have as many hps.

If I cant have a droid for The Gungan and Bane thats cool just though it could be something to help out the group and some of the talents I can take at the same time.

Jonny

I'm going to veto this Jonny. Thanks to Bill's minion I already have 9 PC's to take care of in one game (stupid talent in effect lets Bill go twice). You guys already vastly overpower every group you go up against and it's getting to the point where I can't have a decent adventure like this. I have so many PC's that one round of combat usually takes 20+ minutes. This is why I've banned additional people from joining the game. In game I'll say you can buy all the droids you want. You just wont be able to bring them along with you on the missions.

Magus! You ran a game? And it was popular?! Awwwww.

That's so sweet! Daddy THT's boy done gone growed up!

Were you mathematically precise in your combats, observing all the rules, wincing when your players did what players do? I'm sure you were.

Did you forbid flash-bangs? Does SW even -have- flash-bangs? I bet not.

NT says hi and he still loves you.

Grin.

That's hilarious. I ran a couple games back in the day and they were just as frustrating as this one was although they never lasted more then a couple sessions. This one lasted half a year before my players drove me insane.

It was a great game!

Just need to squish all the PCs back to a reasonable power level (ie crash on a uncharted planet in a black hole cluster) :P

Well, I'm still muy impressed. I know how your...mathematical sensibilities go somewhat gooey when confronted with the hilarity that is the average player. Lasting half a year with any game or group is a remarkable achievement for anyone. 75% of games I've been in die after the first four sessions or so. Perhaps you are a natural!

Now, tell me: how many PC/NPC romances did you have? Which of your PCs started a conspiracy/criminal organization that promptly derailed all your cleverly-laid plans? When your PCs started to kill each other, what did you do? These are all the fun sticky bits of GMing that you never got to see when you ran Mage. Although you did see it playing Vamp, of course. And do you remember that hilarious albeit short-lived Fallout game?

Players. The reassuring solution to a GM's troubling issues of sanity.
