IT was fairly spur of the moment anyways. Rick talked to Dean and was supposed to contact everyone or something on Sat. And since it was discussed on here as an option, we went with it, even though we knew we were missing a few people.

Dean was ready, and we had 2/3s of the crew, so it is what it is. I wouldn't worry about it guys, we tried getting a hold of everyone, as best we could. But we didn't expect you if you weren't around, or have any ill feelings because you weren't :)

The next session will be in a week and a half (Matt's campaign this week - to which I will be late due to a meeting). Then it's on to Cor to infiltrate the Peace Brigade. Oh and Orin now has Mando Armor, so even better at smashing!

Oh, I'm not mad or annoyed or anything like that so please don't think that. It's just a game, after all. If someone had called me I would have hopped on, just saying. :)

Not sure if this is the appropriate place or not, but I was wondering about joining Dean's RPG? You guys are on the Vong War stuff, right? I'd like to create a character and participate, but if you guys don't need another player, I understand. I am just so excited now that I have the core book (thanks to Dean). I'm a little rusty, though, when it comes to RPG stuff. I think I can handle some of the basics, but I would probably have to have some more experienced players look over my character. I would also like to get my wife involved.

BTW, I would have PM'ed Dean, but I figured his PM box was pretty full.

EDIT: I should add, I'm a sucker for Jedi. Probably not the best idea when going up against Vong, but that's ok with me.

why dont you come ot vassal and get your skype set up.

Listen in on one and decide. I dont have a problem with new players.

I have been thinking about making some sort of system online where folks can play rpg... but I need to work on it and find people willing to GM

I did download Skype. So I do have a username associated with it now. I think I may need to download the latest version of vassal though. Otherwise, I would enjoy listening in on one of your sessions.

Alright guys. Now remembering from last session;

- killed the jedi aboard the assault craft
- watched them hand over the rigged craft to Niles Ferrier for dubious purposes
- using technical know-how Kurihan rigged a tracking device aboard the ship we were in
- then we subtlety contacted Master *what-his-name*(sorko?) and let him know of the impending attack
- set up a safe word to use when we feel its proper to turn on our peace Brigade "allies" and gain the aid and trust of the jedi/NR

I assume we'll be on our way to the planet with the jedi temple to assault it.

Key things we need to remember:
- use the word only when we feel we have an advantage over the PB, AND when we can be reasonably sure we won't be discovered by any other groups.. Remember that no one must escape!<- very key!!
- For the deception to work, I would suggest that by the time we report back to our contact not only should we be near dead.. (and perhaps some of us should be unconscious), but our ship should also be suffering some damage as well. We need to make it look like we barely got out (perhaps because we're that much better than our 'allies', we work together as a team better). Perhaps it would also be handy to bring back a dead body or two ( "we tried to save them..but it was too late")

and try to remember that James is our de-facto leader, and to play as in-character as you can!
