Who hooooo!!! *jumps for joy* Someone else who doesn't play Thrawn!

I love the new previews, the Rebel Vanguard will single-handedly change the way Broken Boba is played and Darth Revan, what can I say about him? He's more than amazing and fulfills all my expectations and then some.

Yes, have you never played a Thrawn/thrawn matchup before this?

you role normally for initiative, I think.
Anyway master tactician is so cool.

I must admit... it makes me all warm and fuzzy to see Revan... he feels just right to me. I still feel pretty strongly otherwise about a few other figs... but Revan is just right.

I will admit I'm worried about Vanguards... more I think about them, nastier they become.

Okay, I am all for Revan, I will admit that. HOWEVER, I will make this note. Before COTF, the most expensive figure was the man himself, Darth Vader. Then, COTF came out, and two figures trumped him by a long shot. They are both EU, but culminated from comics, which I can mostly stand.
Now, our most expensive character to date is Darth Revan, a character from a video game. Hey, I loved KOTOR like no one else, but, I don't know how well this sits with me. Just my quick take on it all.

Oh, and I love the Vanguard! Time for an all Missiles, Flamethrower, Grenades squad where my dice are only used for initiative

New 100 Meta: Lando, HoT and 7x Vanguards. I call it: INCOMING!!!!!

Lol, I think I will have some fun with the Vanguards. Sooo much better than the Heavy Trooper.

It will be interesting to see what builds come from Revan. People will try to use him.

While Revan costs more than Vader JH, Vader JH was made to be a beatstick only, the Darth Revan fig was made to be both a decent beatstick and a good commander.

Revan, nice piece. I am quite happy with him. I really don't think that there will be a number of 'fanboy' negative reactions to this piece short of the fact that there is no affinity for Bastila/OR or something. I will admit that I was hoping for something like that, but at the same time, it was more for the fact that the OR has basically nothing going for it right now.

I think that we may end up seeing people play (a little piece that I never play without) in competitive games now, a little green guy named Yoda. CS Yoda. Good luck Rebel Vanguards. Good luck Corruption. CS Yoda and a JWM will stand better against Revan then a JWM swarm will, at 7pts less. Actually, CS Yoda and a JWM would probably be an even match for Revan, which is another reason why I like this piece, he seems balanced against a similar point value of characters.

PS CS Yoda is still my favorite character... in case no one knew ;)

Anybody who pulls Revan in thier sealed games should do well.

The Vanguard won't be too shabby as lower point filler piece in a limited game either.

Yeah, already played using it. Twas awesome. Played against Revan and a Quarrin Assassin. 1 round I brought Revan to 10 HP! It is the 100 varient of the squad I posted when I saw their stats called "Missiles Away!". (See 150 Forum for it)

I know what you mean, on both accounts.
The vanguard is starting to get terrifying.
Also Master Tactician is just so cool.

I do know what you mean.

I've always thought that the most powerful piece should be Palaptine, but two Imperial heavy sets and still no new Palpatine??? I'd really like to see a high stat Palpatine with a CE or SA to reflect the fact he conquered the galaxy - maybe FR2 with force Lightening & Diplomat! :)

Still, I'm liking every mini from this set so far, and Revan is cool 8)

Yeah, it's time for a new Palpatine, Dooku, and even Grievious.

Yeah, a new Anakin would be nice. I would even settle for a Sith Anakin. I love Vader and Luke, and enjoy getting new versions, but there are other characters I want to see. At least we will be getting Legacy stuff next.

One of mine, too. Point for point, he's hard to beat.

As for the previews, I also got all warm and tingely inside while reading Revan's stats. I think he is awesome, and will be a lot of fun to play.

I like the Vanguard also, but it's not going to be as much fun playing against them. :D
