Natasi Daala, Chief of State
Faction: New Republic
Cost: 31
HP: 70
Def: 19
Atk: 7
Dmg: 10

Special Abilities
Unique; Recon; Evade
Affinity (May be in an Imperial Squad)
Imperial Reserves 20 (If you roll a 20 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of Imperial characters to your squad immediately before your first activation of the round)
Mandolorian Reserves 1 (If you roll a 1 for initiative, you can add up to 30 points of Mandalorian characters to your squad immediately before your first activation of the round)

Commander Affect
Your squad may include Mandalorian characters.
Followers in your squad gain Recon and Jedi Hunter.

This is my take on Daala. There is a lot going on here. I wanted to show her relationship with Mandos and her dislike for Jedi. I was going to give her Jedi Hunter also, but she seems like the type of person that orders people to do her dirty work for her.

Looks interesting.

FYI Imperial Reserves are on a roll of 6, not 20. And it would be Mandalorian Reserves 30 (you put the point value after the name, not the dice roll).

ill have to say that she should cost atleast 42 points.
Her CE is too good.
her affinity alone with Imps/NR and CE for Mandos is insane!
shes a great card, i love her, but i think her card should cost more then 40 points.
Kudos on nailing her.......she should also have Betrayal.

I have made a few changes. I lowered Def/Atk and raised the cost a bit. I also changed her commander effect to Non-Unique followers.

Unless you WANT her to be able to bring in Grand Moff Tarkin with reserves, I suggest changing that to non unique as well.

Why the NR affinity,

Um, this is Chief of State Daala, of the New Republic...what faction would you suggest????

Thats why shes not in the Mando faction, and brings in Mandos instead. Makes since to me. I would suggest leaving it as reserves only though and not part of a CE

Yes...more cookie cutter abilities. Master Tactician I could see, but not the swap.

I say for the most part, he is spot on for her at the time he is wishing to represent.

POSSIBLE SPOILER

I don't want to give too much away. I'm guessing you haven't read the Legacy or Fate of the Jedi series. At some point Daala ends up as the Cheif of State of the Galactic Alliance. In the books, we also learn about her relationship with Boba Fett and mandolarians. Bascially, she has a history of hiring them. (Especially when dealing with Jedi.)

I actually like the idea of including the Mandos, but as they are mercenaries I think Daala should have an ability like:

Mandalorian Contractor: Your squad may include Mandalorians characters. The cost for each Mandalorian character is +5.

That way you get the Mandos but the additional cost reflects the payment needed to field them.

I really wanted to put Master Tactician on her, but that seemed a bit much. I wanted to focus on her relationship with Mandos and her hatred for Jedi.

I like the overall ideas. Gotta be careful about it though, because right now, you're allowing Mando Characters in an Imperial squad due to her Affinity and the CE. I don't think that's accurate, as the Mandos never really worked for the Imps at all. Any time that Daala did work with the Mandos before she became Chief of State, she wasn't really an Imperial. She was kind of off doing her own thing for a while.

I really like the ideas overall though. I actually like the fact that her Imperial Reserves would allow you to bring Grand Moff Tarkin into your squad. Makes for good theme. :P

Honestly though, I don't know that I would ever play her. I guess since she has Recon and then also grants the Recon, you have better chances of rolling the reserves. But she'd definitely be a 'fun' piece, and not a competitive one, similar to Kazdan.
