I just finished all of Karen Traviss' Republic Commando novels. Kal is a teaser for you. We're revamping the RC's and the ARC's, and also doing a Walon Vau.

Just out of curiosity, do you think he's under-costed for Conscription? I debated doing a version that had:

Mandalorian Adoption (Allied characters whose name contains Republic Commando or ARC Trooper are considered Mandalorian for the rest of the skirmish.)

But then I though that Conscription is really what Skirata does, and it's a cool ability that is useless on Mandalore The Ultimate, who is too expensive to make it a viable ability. I figured it would also make Mandos much more versatile, since they're so short on cool CE's.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

Love that card. For that cost, he could probably get away with an attack of 11 as well.

Very nice job with him. Good flavor. I have a Kal card, as well as Ordo and the Omega boys in an old thread (viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1274). They're kind of old (made them up between the TFU and Legacy sets releasing), and frankly need to be updated. Might give you some ideas though.

I thought about giving him a higher attack, but I like to keep shooters under a +10 attack at this point, since cunning is so prevalent. Also, he's got a pretty cool CE and Special Ability, so a higher attack would be too many "positives" for the character. You gotta have some negatives!

We've got a revized set of RC's (both Delta and Omega), Walon Vau, Etian, Bardan Jusik, and possibly an Ordo or a generic Null ARC.

I like the Advanced Recon SA. Very cool. Mind if I appropriate it?
