I came up with these two stats calculators. So free feel to check them out if you need help with cost.

For Melee Characters: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=897802
For Range Characters: http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=899438

Could you post them here as well, rather than just links to the WOTC forums?

Here ya go...

This is bacially a calculator to estimate the cost of a custom miniature (with melee attack). You start with the base stats and add points to change/add Hps, Attack, Defense, Special Abilities, Force Powers, and so on. A lot of Force Powers and Special Abilities cost are affect by ether your attack bonus, extra attacks (double attacks, triple..), synergy for other abilites, and the overall strength/design of a character. So consider these when pricing.

This was based off a minis calucator made on this Website (I believe it was made by Guardian_A), I made some (hopefully) improvements on it. I also plan on making one seperate for range. I haven't really tested it, so any feedback would be nice . Note: I revised it to make really powerful characters more costly..

Custom Stats Calculator (Melee)

Base Cost: 4.5
HP: 10
Defense: 12
Attack: +4
Damage 20: (for 10 damage (-2 on cost) and at least half off extra/twin attacks)

For Additional HPs:
20 HP:+1 cost
30 HP:+2 cost
40 HP:+3 cost
50 HP:+4 cost
60 HP:+5 cost
70 HP:+6 cost
80 HP:+7 cost
90 HP:+8.25 cost
100 HP:+9.50 cost
110 HP:+10.75 cost
120 HP:+12.00 cost
130 HP:+13.50 cost
140 HP:+15 cost
150 HP:+16.50 cost
160 HP:+18.25 cost
170 HP:+20 cost
180 HP:+21.75 cost
190 HP:+23.50 cost
200 HP:+25.25 cost

For Additional Defense:
Defense 13:+2/3 cost
Defense 14:+1 1/3 cost
Defense 15:+ 2 cost
Defense 16:+2 2/3 cost
Defense 17:+3 1/3 cost
Defense 18:+4.58 cost
Defense 19:+5.83 cost
Defense 20:+7.08 cost
Defense 21:+8.50 cost
Defense 22:+10 cost
Defense 23:+11.5 cost
Defense 24:+13 cost

For Additional Attack Bonuses:
Attack +5= +2/3 cost
Attack +6= +1 1/3 cost
Attack +7= +2
Attack +8= +2 2/3 cost
Attack +9= +3 1/3 cost
Attack +10=+4 cost
Attack +11=+5 cost
Attack +12=+6 cost
Attack +13=+7 cost
Attack +14=+8.25 cost
Attack +15=+9.50 cost
Attack +16=+11 cost
Attack +17=+12.50 cost
Attack +18=+14 cost
Attack +19=+15.75 cost
Attack +20=+17.50 cost

For Force Points add:
Force 1: +1
Force 2: +1 2/3
Force 3: +2 1/3
Force 4: +3
Force 5: +3 2/3
Force 6: +4 1/3

Special Abilities (Other positive SAs cost between 1/3 point (weak SA) and 6 points (very powerful SA)
Unique (-15.0% total cost at the end)
Melee Attack
Twin Attack (+ 4.75 to attack +10, 5.75 to attack +14, 6.75 to attack +20)
Double Attack (3 points to attack +10, 4 points to attack +14, 5 points to attack +20, ---plus 9.75 with twin attack- + 1.5 more for greater with attack +15)
Triple Attack (+ 4.25 to attack +10, 5.25 to attack +14, 6.25 to attack +20)
Quadruple Attack (+5.75 to attack +10, 6.75 to attack +14, 7.75 to attack +20)
Loner (+1.25 to attack +10, +1.70 to attack +13, +2.25 to attack +15, +3 for over attack +15)-add more for synergy with extra attacks
Cunning Attack/Opportunists/Jedi Hunter (2 + [3.75 x (attacking bonus +5/25)] for each extra attack (Note: Add 2 only once), (3 + [3.75 x (attacking bonus+5/25)] for twin attack,--- (+8.25 x [attacking bonus + 5/25]) more (added on to Twin attack) with Double Attack and Twin)-instead of adding 3.75 x attacking bonus +5/25, you can add number between 1.35 (for attack +4) to 3.75 (for attack +20)
Flight (add 12.5% more to total cost, add before applying unique)
Huge Character (-5% from total, apply before unique)
Recon (+1.5 cost)
Disruptive (+ 2/3 cost to + 2 cost-depending on how powerful the character is)
It's a Trap! (+1 cost)
Fringe (add about 7% to your characters total cost, before Unique)
Swarm +1 (+ 1/3 cost)
Traps (+1 to +3 cost depending on how powerful the character is)
Dark Armor (add around 7% to total cost, apply before unique)
Damage Reduction 10/Shields 2 (add around 15% to cost, apply before unique)
Savage (subtract around 25% from cost, apply before unique)

Force Powers:
Force Powers range from 2/3 point to about 6 points (for stuff like Force Renewal). You might to have add a few to the cost for synergy between abilities and Force Powers, and if these combination of Force Powers make this character very powerful. An example of negative synergy is Bastila, while she has two great "commander" Force Powers (Force Valor and Battle Meditation) if she uses both of them she runs out of Force- and doesn't benefit from Lightsaber Deflect and Lightsaber Sweep, so I would recommend subtracting 1 point from her cost. Below are a list of Force Powers (along with their cost).

Force Renewal 1 (+6 points, + .25% more of every extra Force Power that requires Force Points)
Lightsaber Sweep (+1 cost, + 4.25 for Twin Attack) -Costs a little less with Triple attack.
Sith Lightning (+1.75 costs)
Sith Rage (+ 1, + 1.25 for every extra attack, +2 for Twin Attack)-watch out for synergy with high attckckers and Force Renewal!!
Force Valor (+1.5)
Lightsaber Deflect (2/3 cost)
Sith Sorcery (cost 2.75)
Shockwave (cost 1)
Force Defense (cost 1)-more with Renewal
Force Alter (cost 1.25)
Force Leap (cost 2/3) -watch out for synergy with High cost characters)
Master of the Force (.25% more to Force Point Cost and Force Powers which spend Force Points)-more with Force Renewal
Jedi Mind Trick (+1 cost)
Force Stun (+1 cost)
Use the Force (+1 cost, much more with Force Renewal and/or something like Furry
Knight Speed (+2/3)
Lightsaber Precision(+2/3)

You can add 0-15 points more for Synergy between Abilities and Force Powers.

This includes (but not limited to), Use the Force and Furry, Force Renewal and Master of the Force and many Force Powers, High attack and momentum and multiple attacks, high defense and High HP and lightsaber duelist or dark Armor, high attack multiple attacks and cunning attack (or any other special ability that affects damage), for being a really powerful character…

This is more or less to help balance the cost of the custom, to put him in the right range as other characters similar to them.

Commander Effect
Range 1-3 points for a really weak one, to about 10 for a really, really powerful
one.

This is basically a guide to help you price your custom miniatures, if a result the calculatotor gave you seems to be a bit low or high, add/subtract a few points.

and for shooters...

ITs finished (well at least mostly!!). Ok, for this stat calculator figure up how much extra for you HPs, Defense, and Force Points and then go to what ever damage your non-melee character does. Then just add up the cost and decide some cost for Synergy and overall power of the character. It is now going to be completly accurate, but it should be pretty close. So try it out . what do you think?

Base HP 10
Base Defense 12

For more Defense/HP Values, add:

Lightsaber (+ 2 1/3 to attack +8, +2 2/3 to attack +13, +3 to attack +20)--Double Attack, Twin Attack, Triple Attack, Cunning Attack, Jedi Hunter, Opportunist- all cost 40-60% more [your judgment call ]

Dark Armor (add around 7% to total cost, apply before unique)

Force Powers
Most Force Powers are going to be the same as in the Melee Calculator. Force Powers that affect damage are going to differ a lot without Lightsaber. Remember, when judging force power’s cost think, how big of affect can this Force Power do, how likely is to going to work, how much does the Force Power cost, how much is this Force Power going to affect this character (considering Force Points, Special Abilities and Stats (such as HP and Defense). For example: if you combine Twin and Lightsaber Assault you get 4 attacks (wow) and you can move.

Lightsaber Assault (+1 cost without twin, +6.5 (if not more) with Twin) –watch out for synergy with stuff like cunning attack and Force Renewal (should a lot cost more!!!) Note: I assumed they had a lightsaber for lightsaber assault.

Force Powers
Most Force Powers are going to be the same as in the Melee Calculator. A range Jedi is a big advantage in the game (this one is really powerful with 30 damage). Remember, when judging force power’s cost think, how big of affect can this Force Power do, how likely is to going to work, how much does the Force Power cost, how much is this Force Power going to affect this character (considering Force Points, Special Abilities and Stats (such as HP and Defense). The Finish

You can add 0-15 points more for Synergy between Abilities and
Force Powers.

This is more or less to hlep balance the cost of the custom, to put him in the right range as other characters similar to them.

Commander Effect
Range 1/3 points for a really weak one, to about 10 for a really, really powerful
one.

Thankz, Skywalker2B. I just posted the link to Wizards Forum because of the S-blocks and stuff.

Any questions or comments :D?

No problem. I had copy/pasted it (after clicking "SHOW" on all of the hidden stuff) into MS Word. So it was easy for me to paste it into a post here.

I tried it on the Anakin Solo custom I did and it came out pretty close. Since some of them were not "this ability adds X to cost", but rather "some abilities add between 1/3 to 6 points to cost", I had to guess at some. I came out with 34 from the formula...I had him costed at 28. So, I may have over "guessed" on some of the abilities and force powers using the formula. All in all, it was pretty close. However, there is still a lot of guess work involved. I should post the formulas I used before. Same idea, though I think it combines melee and shooter into one formula.

I just went back to look at it more carefully and made some changes. That being replacing 1/3 with .33 and 2/3 with .66 Makes it easier to add.

The older one I had is pretty much the same. However, it has a few point values for some other SA's, so I added them to the ones already there. I'd also like to see each SA and FP eventually have a point value associated. Take as much guess work out as possible.

I put the 1/3s and 2/3s because the number is more accurate... :) 1/3 +2/3=1, .33+.66 =.99.. :)

If you can S-Block on this forum, I'll S-Block it and make look cool. The only bad thing is that wizards changed their forum over to Gleemax, I didn't remember my old email address, and I can't get into my old account :cry ...

I figured I gave enough examples (for the most part), to make an educated guess on almost all of the SAs and Force Powers, if you need help with one, I'll give you an estimate. Can I see that stats for Anakin Skywalker you made?

Any opinions about the calculator, I'll all ears..

It's not too hard to round to the nearest whole number, but if you like adding improper fractions better... I think it's a personal preference thing.

Sure you can see the stats for my Anakin Solo (not Skywalker). Just look in the Anakin and Tahiri thread in this section. I'd appreciate your comments as well. Of course, now that we've seen WotC's Force Push, my version is out the window. I'll have to change it now. I'm waiting to see if they also give us Force Pull in this set.

Here's the big question...is TFU set going to change these formulas?

Fringe +4
Missiles +2/ 20 DM, Grenades +1/ 10 DM
If an ability is conditional, reduce the cost by 1 or 2.
Consider Synergy with other same-faction units
Compare to similar characters

Force Powers:
Force Powers range from .66 point to about 6 points (for stuff like Force Renewal). Below is a list of Force Powers (along with their cost).

Force Renewal 1 (+6 points, + .25% more of every extra Force Power that requires Force Points)
Lightsaber Sweep (+1 cost, + 4.25 for Twin Attack) -Costs a little less with Triple attack.
Sith Lightning (+1.75 costs)
Sith Rage (+ 1, + 1.25 for every extra attack, +2 for Twin Attack)-watch out for synergy with high attackers and Force Renewal!!
Force Valor (+1.5)
Lightsaber Deflect (.66 cost)
Sith Sorcery (cost 2.75)
Shockwave (cost 1)
Force Defense (cost 1)-more with Renewal
Force Alter (cost 1.25)
Force Leap (cost .66) -watch out for synergy with High cost characters)
Master of the Force (.25% more to Force Point Cost and Force Powers which spend Force Points)-more with Force Renewal
Jedi Mind Trick (+1 cost)
Force Stun (+1 cost)
Use the Force (+1 cost, much more with Force Renewal and/or something like Furry
Knight Speed (+.66)
Lightsaber Precision (+.66)

You can add 0-15 points more for Synergy between Abilities and Force Powers.

This includes (but not limited to), Use the Force and Furry, Force Renewal and Master of the Force and many Force Powers, High attack and momentum and multiple attacks, high defense and High HP and lightsaber duelist or dark Armor, high attack multiple attacks and cunning attack (or any other special ability that affects damage), for being a really powerful character…

This is more or less to help balance the cost of the custom, to put him in the right range as other characters similar to them.

Commander Effect
Range 1-3 points for a really weak one, to about 10 for a really, really powerful
one.

This is basically a guide to help you price your custom miniatures, if a result the calculator gave you seems to be a bit low or high, add/subtract a few points.

Thankz for all of your interest in the Stat Calculators :D. I'm thinking about reopening up the project and making some changes. Can you s-block on this site?

For the SAs you added (note, I made this for melee)..

Mobile Attack +2/3 to +1 (add about 1/3 to 2/3 points more for Twin Attack)

Mobile Attack is not really helpful to a melee character. You have to defeat a character into not to provide and attack of opportunity and so on. It is a lot more useful for range :).

Deadly Attack +1/3 to 1

This SA really doesn't do that much. It slighly increases the chance of landing a critical. I would say about 1/3 (low cost characters without extra attacks) to 1 point (for charactes like Darth Maul with 4 attacks).

Vicious Attack +1/3 to 1

This SA is very similar to deadly attack, and again it doesn't do much. Maybe once one twice in a game you get +20 damage.

Vaapaad +2/3 to 1 2/3

Vaapaad style fighting increases you criticals a lot :). So it cost a little more.

Disintegrate + 1 2/3 to 2

I might have undercosted this one a little bit. The only characters I remember having this is the gotal fringer (he was overcosted) and Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter. It is a nice SA, but agin the chances are slim they it will occur.

Cleave 2/3 to 1 2/3

Cleave is really dependent upon your damage output. If your character is stronger and able to take out more characters, the SA cost more.

Rolling Cleave +1 to 2.5

Rolling Cleave is pretty useful, because you can move and then attack (providing more times of use). Again it is really dependent on how strong a character is on how much it should cost.

Mighty Swing/Deadeye +.5 to 4

These two are really dependent on how many attacks you have and your damage. For characters like the Tusken Raider it would cost like .5 or so. These point cost are similar to that of Cunning Attack and Jedi Hunter.

Careful Shot +1/3 to 2

This SA is very similar to Bounty Hunter and other SAs that add 4 to their attack. Take into account how using this SA is, does the character have accurate shot- sniper, extra attacks, and so on..

Advantageous Attack

This one would just cost a little less than cunning attack (you just don't get a +4 bonus).

Does that help?

Sure, that helps. :) Like I said, anything that minimizes the guess work is a great help. I'll have to add those to the formula.

Ok, glad I could help. Keep in mind I cost a couple for melee, and for range they would cost more.

I haven't seen that many stats for the new set, but I do know that I have to post a couple Force Powers that cost 5 Force Points for comparison purposes :).
