Well my friends and I are doing a 500pt epic game this weekend. My one friend, Pat, who always uses Vong is going to have trouble with all his "within 6" Special Abilities and Commander effects. So I came up with this for this game.

Premature Yammosk:
Faction: Yuuzhan Vong
Base Size: Large
Cost: 20
HP: 30
Defense: 18
Attack: 0
Damage: 0

Special Abilities:
Emplacement
Damage Reduction 10
War Coordinator: Each Allied Yuuzhan Vong character counts as being within 6 squares of each other, for purposes of Commander Effects and Special Abilities.


A yammosk was an incredibly powerful organism that served as a type of biological Battle analysis computer. It did this through empathic abilities that bordered on telepathy and the creature was capable of communicating by the manipulation of gravitational waves. Using this, it was typically given control over a brood of dovin basals which were slaved to it. The yammosk typically saw its charges as its children and attempted to protect them and when endangered, coordinated their actions in battle.

I named it Premature because a real Yammosk would most likely have a +defense commander effect. And this is just to make his bonuses rangeless.

I have no skill at all when it comes to actually making a custom, but Pat on the other hand is very talented artistically. So he will be soon so we can use it in all our games.
