Originally called this "Bane's Bane", but... meh.

-- A Big Gun and a Trusty Saber --
55 General Obi-Wan Kenobi
33 Captain Rex
12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4
(100pts. 6 activations)

Rex tee's off on anything he can see and Obi stalls the melee threats as long as possible. Uggies for activations. Haven't tried it yet, but am curious on how it might do. I didn't think either of these guys really needed some followers for their CE's, but at least the uggies have a slim increase in survivability.

Obi-Wan's CE is wasted, althouhg as you say, ugos do benefit. I would worry most about there being Targets that Rex cannot hit with his +12 attack.

unless they have stealth...

Yeah If they have stealth I wont worry about them at all, because I shoot something else. Stealth is easy to overcome, just get close enough. But an opposing GOWK with, I don't know Quinlan Vos or Qui-Gon Jinn is going to be darn near impossible to hit. Something like 27-28 defence in Cover, Rex needs 15-16's to even make a hit. That is what I would worry about.

I would drop Rex and an Ug for a JWM and R2. The JWM would have a 27 defense against Bane, and a 27 defense against non-adjacent shooters as long as you can keep him in cover.

Now see, I was thinking about suggesting something like boris has laid out but Against Bane, Obi-Wan should have no problems at all. And actually I'd Rather have Rex against Bane, because of the ranged threat that he brings.

I was thinking that something that can hit hard to hit targets might be more flexible.

I would rather have a run 6, attack twice at +16 against a base defense over a shoot 4 times at +12 vs. base defense +4. But that's just me.

Bane can boost his move to 10 if he burns the fps, or he can just move up 16 (with fp), and not attack, he is one heck of a beast, and an adjacent beast with 200 hp's is still dangerous without that attack

I would suggest putting in Dash Rendar instead of Rex, I've seen it run. It's scary. *shudder*

The Yuuzhan Vong are annoying
Just think about this, they create a black hole for a shield. look it up and see what would happen if you did that.

They. Are. Retarded. Period. The End.

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is awesome!

Alright, just because I'm new to this forum doesn't mean I'm new to the game, so please don't just disregard what I say just because it seems to be that I'm a noob.

Dash can just bring more to the game than Rex does for low points
Besides, he's Correlian, and that alone makes him awesome

I agree, Dash is better. He gets the CE for a +10/14 atk and 19/23d. He also has evade. In 100 it's very easy to overcome the lower damage early in the round over Rex. You also can work in R2-AM with the extra points, which I also suggest.
