Just a couple 100 point squad ideas I'm trying to decide between.

33 Emperor Palpatine on Throne
51 Nightsister Sith Witch x3
This one leaves 16 points to go. Not sure what I'd put there, but since I only have 2 Sith Witches right now (#3 coming via a trade) I thought I could worry about those last 16 points if she gets here in time and I haven't already decided on one of the other 2 squads.

33 Emperor Palpatine on Throne
31 Arica
34 Nightsister Sith Witch x2

61 Cade Skywalker, Bounty Hunter
33 Emperor Palpatine on Throne
6 Mouse Droid x2

I found: Palps on Throne, Darth Vader Unleashed, and a Sith Witch to be very effective. The Sith Witch didn't survive all that long once the enemy had LoS to her so you need to be careful in her placement. But the squad is awesome!

After I posted it that I saw a few posts about using that Vader with this Palps and while I don't know if I'd use the witch for the last 17 points I did add that to my list of possible squads.

Door Control? Maybe your LGS is different than mine, but I'd get screwed by Override if I ran any of those squads. :P

Cade + Palps can be fun for the infinite healing, but I'm not sure if it's really viable for 100 points. Maybe for 150 or 200. The old RS Palpatine and Sith Witches has been a fairly popular build for a long time. It's kind of cool to see it make a reappearance. The old version used RS Palps, 3 Sith Witches, and 3 Ugos, for 100 points even. So, if you went with 3 Ugs in your build, you'd have 7 points left. Maybe another Ug/MD and a Gran? Maybe 2 Imperial Dignitaries and 2 Ugos? Could do a Twi'lek BG and 2 Ugos.

The Arica/Palpatine one is cool too, but without Errata, it won't be as cool as it could be with Arica getting to use FPs twice per turn. I'd also go with perhaps a Storm Commando instead of the 2nd Sith Witch in that scenario. Gets you some door control, and another semi-decent shooter.

MY LGS is mostly younger players so I'm usually able to get away with no door control in 100 points. If I get the third one in time and decide to use it the Palpy + 3 witches build would have some sort of door control in those last 16 points. Either some Ugs or just use the points for the new Lobot. The only local play issue making me wary of this build is the other older player likes to use Kyle, JBM so while my witches could share Palps FP for Kyle's support they'd be limited to thier own single Lightnings when they went after him since if they get within 6 to Lightning him his Disruptive will keep them from sharing Palps FPs. Also one of the more random younger players played 5 Vong Jedi Hunters for the last 100 point game up there.

After looking things over I'm really leaning towards the squad with Vader and Palpy plus whatever I add for the last 17 points and save the lightning idea for 150. Maybe take the Arica version and add the new Thrawn plus some door control.

I just used Vader Unleashed and Palps in my 100 pt tourney this week. I'd suggest my build of 3x Ugs and 2x Grans.

1) It allows you to out-activate your opponent

2) Have some meat shields for Vader or Palps in case you need to block damage or get timely AO's

3) It gives you some form of door control

If you do get in trouble during the game, just remember to make them come to the Emperor by moving your entire squad into gambit. That way Palps can become an offensive weapon.

Good Luck

Maybe instead of 2 Grans you can use another Ug and a Dignitary/Noble. The Noble is a perm piece of cover for Vader/Palps...

The Dignitary was one of the pieces I was looking at using with Palpy in Gambit.
