I searched this out but either there's an error on the WotC board or its a firewall issue that is the reason I haven't found an answer. I've also looked in the Archives at the definitions.

Just want to make sure I have the interaction correct. Overwhelming Force doesn't prevent the use of Lightsaber Block only the effects of a successful save, which is the prevention of damage on a melee attack. So with Overwhelming Force bypassing the damage prevention aspect of Lightsaber Block, it doesn't bypass the Special Ability of Cortosis Gauntlet (X), correct?

Hmm, interesting. I think you might be correct. I would ask this one on WotC and see what Nickname thinks.

Thanks. I did a search last night on my computer on the WotC forums but I kept getting a blank screen. Granted I was typing in "Overwhelming Cortosis" as my keywords. On this computer, WotC is blocked by the Firewall.

I figure it's an important interaction. Based on the definition, it doesn't prevent the ability just the damage negation. On most instances, this wouldn't be important but with the concept of Cortosis Gauntlet [X], it might be important.

Basically, the ruling is that you cannot use Block at all when OWF is in place, and therefore, Cortorsis never comes up.

Darn. Thought I had something there. Oh well, that keeps Lord Vader from being gimped. Good to know.
