Alright, I don't want to seem like a N00b, but here is my question anyway:



Say this is the situation:




OXXXXCXXXO

O=opponent's figure
X=blank square (no cover, low objects, walls, ect)
C=The attacking chracter (ranged, no accurate shot)


Neither opponent's figures have cover, but one is closer than the other. If neither have cover, can I choose which one to attack, or do i have to attack the one on the right?


I'm pretty sure the answear is yes, i can choose, but not entirely sure.

Yes, you can always target any character who does not have cover, regardless of distance (unless using an ability with a range, of course).
