Mara in 100

I've got a tourney on sunday and wanna use Mara. Made this.

Mara Jade, Jedi-45
Land, Dashing Scoundrel-18
Jagged Fel-10 (so mara can shoot decent targets)
General Dodonna-9
3 Ugnaught Demolitionists-9
Ewok-3 (Cuz he's cute :lol:

)
Ewok Warrior-5 ( Swarm bonus)
99pts,9acts
Hang back and shoot until enemy close enough to LS assault. Thoughts? Comments? Other ideas for 100 pt Mara squads? I have only 1 more Ugg, no more 3 pt. ewoks and no lobot, just so you know. Not anyone who reads this, you, and you alone. You will know who you are, you are reading this. :wink:

I'm not too sure on the strategy of this squad. Center on one strategy, such as a jedi intercept squad or somthing else. It just seems like you have 3 completly different stratigies ( mara, shooters, ewoks) and they really don't mesh.

Just some pointers.

How does Mara shoot decently with Jag? She doesn't have Pilot so she doesn't get his CE.

She can shoot decently without Jag. Jag shoots good too. Kills all those nasty little meat shields.

Not too bad. Mara for Cunning and Lando for the later follow-up is always nice. I really don't think you need General Dodonna in there though. I would drop him, and maybe the Ewok Warrior to put in some other low-cost shooter (maybe a Correlian Pirate to pick off Ugs?). Otherwise, it's not a bad build at all.

What about dropping Doddona, as suggested, and working Luke FS in to give Mara Force Renewal and Mettle?

So, I won all three games at the tourney. First game was against a poorly made team made of Vader CotS, Moff Veed, Noghri commando and a FSO. 2nd game was against the best player at my LGS who used Canderous, 2mando troopers, a human BG and a med droid. Close game that came down to initiative and dice.Last game was against the other ppreviously undefeated player. I did 60 dmg to his RotS vader before being sith rage critted twice in a row before being gunned down by his Deliah and Imp security officer.Lando got some good shots as did Jag. The uggs crowded around deliah and ImpSec so they couldn't hit decent targets. after a seond hit from lando, deliah died, leaving the Imp all but helpless.
