Continueing my attempt to play a piece I've never used before in every squad i make. This week its Cade's turn to be the new piece.

Cade 61
Bothan Noble 17
Obi, FS 8
Leia RH/RT on Tauntaun

Not sure on the last piece. Leia to give Cade the option of moving whenever he kills something or a little bit of iniative control with the Tauntaun's recon.

I think I'll stick to pieces that are actually out and usable in a squad. :D

Far as the last peice Homer.

Really, it comes down to what your local meta is like. Knowing what to expect can easily narrow down the options.

Also don't forget P.LeiaCC, normally she's just a cheep shooter, but if you face off against a SS squad, you can haunt her with obi and eliminate SS every round and just pound away with cade

My LGS is pretty unpredictable. Most squads have the look of being built around whatever new piece that person most recently got ahold of. Usually if I plan for something I don't face it. Like I've played with Han Rogue and faced zero iniative control or played Vong JH and faced nothing but Mando squads. I think my best bet is to go full on offense and not try to plan for everything. I'll save that for higher point totals.

Well if that's the case I see two options

LIst every Rebel/fringe 14 pt you have and just Pick one that seems to work well.
OR
Instead of going for just 1, throw in Dodonna and some 5 point filler and hope you can outactivate your opponents so your not leaving Cade out in the open.

I've run this combo many times at all point levels and being a Deathstar squad, you need to protect Cade like mad.

Might consider a Twilek bodyguard and a MCTS, the TBG to spare cade a few hits when you have to leave him out, the MCTS for CF fodder.
