Anyone have anything to add? Subtract? This is meant to be an open discussion to compile a list of the best 100 pointers out there.

I think that is about it. Where's boba, BH, han, RH and the ugnaught? And are force lighting builds still competative?

They probably still see play, but aren't competitive, Yoda and Thrawn are too prominent.

Good idea flea, I'm kinda surprised to didn't list Swiss Army Knife first. :D

My only suggestion would be to list the variants.

yeah really, I'm suprised the swiss army knife isn't listed first.
As for force lightning squads I think they are still kind of competitive if played right, but they can fall easily to big beats like Bane or Exar.

It might work, but I think Yoda CS would dominate them.

These squads are in no order of best to worst. It is just a list of all the best.

A) The figures are not legal yet.

B) We have no idea what this next set brings to the 100 scene.

C) This is a DCI thread. A squad like that will be too easy to get 100 points from. That squad has no door control either and has no way of dealing with the likes of Bane and other heavy beats.

I added R2-D2, that might help a little (with Override and Tow Cable), but I don't know how the squad would work against Bane.

OK, guys....this thread 'squads to beat' is intended to only be updated when you have a squad that has been proven to be a very good squad. Whether you think it is or not isn't the issue.

Yoda of the database, I know you think you're squads are good, but until you're able to report that a particular squad beat several other squads (and particularly, squads already on this list) then let's not suggest adding them to the list. Typically, the squads on these lists have been played a lot, and by many different people, so that several people can all chime in and agree that the squads on the list are indeed some of the toughest to beat.

Great post. Thanks Lobostele.

@Fool
You realize that A&E didn't add even half of those squads? BH, CotF and A&E are all the major things in this and I think little will change with FU. (A few squads added, a few dropped)

Some squad including Shaak Ti will make it on here, no doubt. A few weeks after the relese of FU, we'll know for sure. She's just too good to stay of this list.

I've got to say that I feel the Bane and 6 ugnaughts is superior to the Bane and Twilek squad.

I've actually killed the twilek in a mirror with ugnaughts in a round.

Its not that its bad, but the extra activations are huge.

That's the only submission I'd make.

Talon
Mara
Jaina
Ugnaught

is another really good squad

I like
Lord Vader
Probe Droid
Ugnaughts x7

Vader JH
Probed Droid
Sith Witch (or SC)

Any names for these?

I am really looking forward to seeing how FU shakes up 100. Should be interesting!

So are there any concrete post-TFU squads out there yet?

There has to be a Luke with Yoda squad that will be here, he's just too much of a threat to not plan for.

EDIT: looks like there are three different variations that look like they might do well:

Luke and Yoda
Princess Leia
Uggyx3

Variant:-Uggyx3/+Twilek Bodyguard or -Uggyx3/+R2D2

all of these are very valid but do you think that they can beat most of the meta squads? I think so but what do other people think

the bg was needed as a security banker from bobas big d.

I really don't think that the Vader build is tier one. It is too reliant on force and I don't think it can do damage fast enough. The bg is also missed place there. You should really go with 3 uggos for door control and activatios.

Loda I believe to be up there though. 3 uggos is most likely the best in most situations. The 90 damage from 12 squares away is very powerful. Heck you can move six and do ninety and then stun three times!
