Good squads, lots of good squads, but where are the Nom Bombs, and where is Hoth Pilot Unleashed. I have seen both of these be very effective in 100 point venue

Nom 34
Lobot 27 (61)
6x Gran 24 (85)
2x AA 14 (99)

Reinforcements:
Usually a BBSV.

Won a 100 point tournament over the weekend using Loda, Princess Leia, and 3 ugnaughts. The ability to do 90 damage a turn from 12 squares away can't be overlooked, nevermind the ability to activate your opponent's figs with stun. Leia solves Loda's damage output problem all by herself. I think it's a legit squad in 100.

yeeesh that's pretty sick...

03 Ugnaught Demolitionist x1

Doesn't look like much, but works pretty much like San Hill. This is a tough one for the B&B or SAK armies to take down without guaranteed init, no easy swapping, and two decent shooters.

I also like:

Dodonna
Boba BH
Han RH
Bothan Noble
Lobot

Haven't tried it out yet, but should work pretty much like the one above. This time, when you do win init, Boba gets 4 shots at 30 damage a pop!

And, for more fun with Dodonna:

Dodonna
Mara Jade Jedi
Boba BH
Lobot
Ugo x2

This is basically a direct copy of the popular San Hill builds into a NR format. Just sub Mara Jade Jedi in instead of Aurra JH and an Ugo, and sub Dodonna in for San.

Hey Lobo, this is a 100 point thread. :D

Silly Mandalorians.... ;)

My bad. Saw Boris' SS Imperial build, and was thinking it looked like the 150 point SAK. I'll just edit my post to save space in the thread and not confuse anybody else. :P

Can that really handle Bane? Kota dies in 3 hits to Bane, and it wouldn't be too hard to maneuver around enough to just Lightsaber Throw at Kota and play keep away from the Repulse. Might not be completely easy, but I can't see having too much trouble with it.

Seek and Destroy and Loda/PL will own this as well, IMO. Boba will do everything possible to shoot your KDBH's from a distance before they can get close. The JWM can play interference to slow down the Kel Dors. And Loda will never let you get off a Repulse, and will simply let the KDBH's shoot at him all day while he runs in and finishes off Kota first. The KDBH's will have to go after PL first, but I still think even that would be an uphil battle.

Loda vs Koda is a fight in Which Kota has the edge. His 23 defense and 12 attack are superior to Loda's 13/20. The difference is with Leia. You have him out activated most likely, Just tow Kota to adjacent to leia at the end of a round and double on her after you have picked off whatever scrub fodder he had with the squad (probably 3x ugo). Once Leia is defeated Loda vs Koda is a good match up for Kota I think. Especially with the kel-dors shooting at him 10 damage adds up, and if he is reflecting then he is wasting force points.

As Far as Bane is concerned you are right, I dont think this is an end-all Be all, but you wont find that in 100. I think this is competitive.

I have to disagree with this one kota cannot hang with loda. he will never get his repulse off and you as well as a lot of people i see way overvalue that 23 def. Yeh it's good but not that good.

All I was saying about it was this, Loda gets 2 attacks on Kota, he needs 10's. Kota Gets 2 attacks on Loda he needs 8's. Yeah the repulse doesn't ever go off, but it doesn't really matter, If you can kill Leia, than you should be able to defeat Loda. Your Kel-Dor's will either put enough damage on him to make up the difference of not having repulse, or Loda will waste 2 or more force points to negate each of their attacks. I do not think that Loda/Leia +3 ugo's is a problem for this build.

I lost one of them. With Zam down to 10HP he got her close enough to Boba to infest him for 60, then won iniative and did it again to finish him off.

I can not see any team being able to beat this team. Probably the new 100 pt team to beat. Anyone else play this or beat this?

It has downsides. Its low on activations. The lone Ug is the only door control. It has nothing for iniative help. Using the Bothans hinders Boba a lot. They cancel out his Mobile Attack since you have to leave him exposed to take advantage of the extra shots. You can't gun and run since you need to stay close enough for the Bothans to keep up with him. They need an open map to really take advantage of all the shots, but if the map is too open the Bothans and thier 15 def are easy targets.

Yeah, I forgot super stealth. First time I tried the squad I faced a guy with Mon Mothma, Mas, Bacara, Queen Amidala, and ECT's. To make matters worse first 2 rounds he got a 20 for iniative. It was pretty ugly at first. Once I made it across the board I basicly had Boba hide until an ECT would move close enough. Boba would move up, attack, take Mothma's death shot, move back. Bothans did nothing except heal Boba. Game finally turned when he miscalculated Bacara's position and I was able to move Boba 12 squares to get next to him. A bothan followed to let boba shoot and it was pretty much over at that point.
