Well, now that we know what Legacy is bringing us, I'm starting to wonder what we can do with the CRUBLS style of squad to bring it back into the competitive realm. So let's see what everybody's come up with so far.

First of all, obviously, is figuring out a way to get Luke FS into the build. I figure you either have to drop Lobot, or drop Talon Karrde.
If you drop Talon, and add Luke, you now have 15 points left over. That would be great for 5 more Ugos, or possibly even better, Dodonna and 2 Ugos. If you think you'll want to run the MTB engine, you can do MTB/Gonk with Lobot and the Ugos instead of Dodonna. That gives you 8 total rounds of activation control. Still going to give you a lot of grief against shooter heavy squads on their map (namely Mustafar if it stays legal).
If you Drop Lobot, you're left with 18 points after adding Luke. You could do Lando DS for those points, but that leaves only 7 activations in the squad, definitely too few for the national meta. Dodonna and 3 Ugos would probably be your best bet here, IMO. That gives 10 activations total, with the option to out activate something like a B&B squad.

Other options with this idea, is to change the whole B part of the acronym. There aren't really any other female NR pieces in the LOTF set that will work well here, but I can see Kyle JBM and Shado Vao being nice with a 12 square range and then attack. But I'm not convinced there's enough space in a 150 point squad to use either of them effectively this way.

So...anybody found any other ideas for boosting CRUBLS yet?

One of the things I really like about Mara Jade, Jedi is that she isn't melee. She can hang back and scrub-kill for a few rounds and then close on the opponent's big units once they're moved up a bit, And her adjacent attacks can not be LS Blocked. I don't think anything Legacy can out-do her in this role since all the only mid-high cost characters are Melee except Han, GH.

I have been dying to try a Han GH + Shado Vao/Katarn build though... I'm dying to find something top tier with Katarn at 150.... My inner fanboy must be satisfied!

Haha, I saw this after posting my "In-Laws" Squad. (See the 150 section)

I'd definitely think of it as a CRuBLs style squad. Nearly guarenteed init is great with Mara. :D

or, CRuBLs, a squad focused around Han in Stormtrooper Armor and Mara Jade, Jedi to outdistance the opponent while still being able to attack.

Ah. I see. Thank you. I gotta admit, that is one of the less creative terms I have seen on this site. Whoever thought of the name Black and Blue: Smart dude.

LOL, funny thing is, both names partially came from the same person. :P It isn't very creative, and was more of a silly joke when it first got coined right after Mara Jade Jedi came out in A&E. It was just so funny it kind of stuck. :P

Nah, I had nothing to do with naming CRuBLS - that was all Deri (Fingersandteeth). He came up with that one. But you are right, I did laugh pretty hard when he first posted the name, and so I started using it and it stuck! Also, I don't really want to claim "making the squad", it was pretty darn intuitive of a design once we saw Mara and Han. I think other people posted similar squad ideas around the same time as well. I'll see if I can dig up the relevant thread. Edit, couldn't find it. You'll just have to trust me :)

For Black and Blue history, read this:

Ahh, yes, all I could remember is that it was you and Deri going back and forth about it in the one thread. Yeah, the combination of pieces really was a no-brainer for the most part. I personally think the "Jade's/Mara's Talons" and such were probably more accurate names overall, but CRUBLS just was so dang funny. I doubt it will ever go away completely. :P
