I've always wanted a definitive list of what Force powers can and cannot be used against characters with Force Immunity. So here's what I have so far:

First off, I'll start with the definition of Force Immunity as stated in the latest rulebook:
Force Immunity: Other characters cannot spend Force points to affect this character, to reroll attacks against it, or to respond to its attacks and abilities. This character does not count for purposes of Force powers that affect multiple characters, such as Force Lightning or Shockwave-select a different character instead.

Yes (These abilities boosts attacker's stats and abilities and do not specify targeting an enemy character)
Aing-Tii Flow Walking
Battle Meditation
Blaster Barrage
Control Minds
Dark Temptation
Dispassionate Killer
Force Leap
Force Valor
Force Withdrawal
Force Weapon
Indiscriminate Rage
Knight Speed
Lightsaber Assault
Lightsaber Precision
Lightsaber Sweep
Lightsaber Throw
Master Speed
Overwhelming Force
Sith Rage
Use the Force
Whirlwind Attack

No (Deal damage directly, avoid damage dealt by, specify targeting a character with, or apply some other effect to a character with Force Immunity)
reroll saves or attacks
Absorb Energy
Dark Aura
Dark Force Spirit 1
Drain Life
Essence of Life
Force Absorb
Force Alter
Force Blast
Force Bubble
Force Burst
Force Defense
Force Detonate
Force Dominate
Force Grip
Force Heal
Force Lightning
Force Push
Force Repulse
Force Sense
Force/Light Spirit
Force Storm
Force Strike
Force Stun
Force Thrust
Force Whirlwind
Illusion
Jedi Mind Trick
Levitation
Lightsaber Block
Lightsaber Defense
Lightsaber Deflect
Lightsaber Reflect
Lightsaber Riposte
Pawn of the Dark Side
Sever Force
Shockwave
Sith Grip
Sith Hatred
Sith Hunger
Sith Lightning
Sith Sorcery
Transfer Essence
Unleash the Force

Situational (These can be both Yes and No depending on the time the Force Power is used)
Advanced Battle Meditation
Force Meditation
[Note: Both Advanced Battle Meditation and Force Meditation will work on boosting an ally's stats, but it will not hurt an enemy's stat/commander effect if they have Force Immunity]
Force Corruption
Shatterpoint
[Note: Neither Force Corruption nor Shatterpoint will work on a character where Force Immunity is actually printed on the card. They will work on a character who does not have Force Immunity that round but at a later round gains it through Ysalamiri. After gaining Force Immunity, these abilties continue to affect the character.]

-----

If any of you think these are wrong, please post and we can discuss, because I don't claim to know everything and could be wrong about some of these. I'm not interested in the "well this would never happen" aspect of some of these, just about whether it's legal to or not.

Battle Meditation grants a CE, so it works against Force Immunity.
Heal and Spirit can't be used with a Force Immunity character.
Overwhelming Force affects the user's attacks, not the enemy.
You cannot target a character with Force Immunity with Shatterpoint, but it doesn't go away if the target gains Force Immunity.

So Battle Meditation can be used against Force Immunity? Even though the CE affects enemy characters? Or, does only the ally part if the CE work, and not both parts of it?

I mean, yes, it's a CE, but it's a CE gained from a Force Power, so I wouldn't think it would affect Force Immunty characters.

Force Meditation (along with Control Minds and Force Valor), both grant CE's. That is it's only effect. The CE's granted are not considered a Force power, or affect other figs with a Force Power.

What would happen if Revan uses Force Corruption on an Uggernaut and then the opponennt uses thrown to switch the corrupted uggernaut so that the corrupted uggernaut is within 6 squares of Thrawn and gains force immunity. Would the corrupted uggernaut then become un-corrupted cause of gaining force immunity?

I believe that the Force Corruption would still affect the Uggernaut, since the Force Power was actually used while the unit did not have Force Immunity. Just because it becomes Force Immune later does not change the fact that the power was previously used. Immunity doesn't necessarily prevent a continuous effect, it just prevents it from starting.

I thought Corruption only worked against living enemies, and Uggernaughts are not considered living because they have mounted weapon.

Bah...good call. I didn't think through that part of the question. You are correct. So, in the above example, replace 'Uggernaut' with 'Utapaun on Dactillion'. Then it makes sense. ;)

With the new set coming out, it seems all of the new Force abilities affect the force user, so no new powers to add to this list.

Drain Life 3 (same as before, no)
Eternal Hatred
Force Cloak
Lightsaber Throw 2 (same as before, yes)

Thanks Don. I hope it helps people out.

Nothing new in Clone Wars, so nothing to add.

Updated with Levitation and Lightsaber Defense. I would say you clearly can't levitate someone out of Thrawn's bubble, but I think you can levitate someone into it. I'll ask and find out. But for now I think you can, if they start outside of it.

Looks like Force Blast is the only new Force Power that can be used against other characters, so an update has been completed.

I thought Force Repulse worked on Vong since it's a force power not targeting vong, but is rather an area effect (same with Unleash the Force).

It is dealing damage directly, so thus does not affect characters with Force Immunity.

Wouldn't they be immune to lightsaber throw 5 because it targets multiple?

No. It affects the user's attacks, or abilit to make attacks.
