Is the Seek and destroy squad still valid in 100?

Boba BH
JWM
R2 Astro
Ugnaught

My thinking is that it probably still is a very playable squad. With this though, what is there to really watch out for? thoughts opinions, please.

Still viable, but I'd watch out for Loda/Chewie or Loda/Princess Leia since all the force points will be used to reflect Fett's attacks and he'd never be able to outrun a Loda and still be able to get off consistent shots. The only way you'd be able to move 6, get to attack, and not expect to get based and attacked in turn is if you're using hindering terrain to your advantage, which isn't always possible.

Or if the boba rolls a 20 on Luke.

I think that in a 100 point match seek and destroy could win by putting the JWM in gambit after killing off leia. Yuke will have trouble against a Boba with R2 if Leia falls and you control gambit.

Starting the argument with "Unless Boba rolls a 20" doesn't really address the viability of a build, IMO. Sure it Luke/Yoda will have issues with Boba and Co. but can't the same be said for any top tier build? good builds are supposed to make the opposition struggle :) 100 points is a crapshoot depending on initiative rolls anyway.

It should still be viable but with more trouble vs certain squads. Things are more even with so many options now :)

Would you think that tatooine would be an appropriate map choice?

I'd go with Mustafar. Geonosis is a good pick too. Bespin would definitely be up there as well.

Although, if you make one little mistake your Boba could fall into a pit. Not likely, but it certainly is possible.

yeah I do try to avoid pit maps when not playing a character with force push.
