I'm going to be playing in a DCI legal 150 point game this Friday. I won there last month with Boba/Doombot/JWMx3. Any ideas for a different type of squad I could try out instead.

That would depend on how competitive it is. Do people run tier 1 stuff?

Go with Storm Commandos.

Not usually. Tier 2 stuff played well can do fine there.

I didn't ask for somebody to build me a squad, just to reccomend a type of squad I might want to try. I tend to get stuck in a rut when I'm squad building and use the same pieces over and over. I'm just looking for somebody to jump start my brain and point me in a new direction.

I say build a 3X Storm Commando sqad. They're fun as hell and it has a sort of theme to it. The rest of the pieces are for you to figure out.

I meant to include this in the previous post. Must have lost flea's part when I was moving stuff. Storm Commando's are on my list of pieces I want to build something around. Preoblem is I haven't pulled a single one out of a booster yet.

Try looking on Shoebox. There are 8 billion squads listed. Pick a fig and search for it.

Try this:
1. Get out your cards (1 for each different mini)
2. Remove from the pile all the stuff you frequently use.
3. Shuffle the pile and draw a few cards
4. Select one of those minis and build a squad around it.

I like this. I think rather than scramble up all my stat cards and then having to resort them when I'm done I could just use the random booster thing on minimanager and get a random mixed set booster. Just do that a couple times until I draw something that looks like it would be fun to build a squad around.

EDIT: First R/VR I pulled that i haven't used before was Gree. Looks like its going to be wookiees this week.
