I have posted this on the WOTC boards, but I figured you guys will have good input. Once I complete it who do I need to contact to get put on Holocron?

Any suggestion? The map is and has been a work in progress for a while and changes have been made after play testing.

Really nice! We need more PT maps.

There are some "half squares" around the two green engines. Add some junk or pit droids to "fill" the squares.

I think the map is a little "fast". I want more junk (perhaps a pod racer) in the way. At the moment you can setup without LOS and then reach you enemy pretty fast (turn2 ?).

What if I moved the blue engines arounda bit? If I moved both of them to the right one square and then moved the right engine up on or two squares?

That should work. But I think it needs junk too as there are very few doors. And more pit droids. :wink:

Ok I had the day off work yesterday to deal with some home maintenance issues. Once they were taken care of, I decided to take the time to work on my map. Let me know what you all think. I have taken comments from Lex and the guys in our weekly game and this is what I have at the moment. I think it need sume junk. maybe droids carrying parts in the lower left. But it is getting close.

This is just my opinion and I don't make custom maps, but I think that Pod Racers should be low objects rather than Blocking terrain. I would think that it would be possible to shoot around them, but not necessarily an easy thing to do.

I really like - great location! My one suggestion would be to move the far batha/pod engine over a square or two. The pod engine blocks a good deal of the starting zone on that side and if you even moved it over by one square, you open more room for starting placement.

Overall though, it looks great and I wouldn't change a thing with the blocking terrain. There are nice lines of sight, but nothing too incredible for either side. I look forward to seeing this one completed!

Thanks - This map was started back in 06, ,I think. Basically before I had a competative view at starting postions and gambit.

You are right. Moving the left batha right 1 inch would help with set up. Thanks for the advice. I will keep working on it.

well if thats the case this project wont be done tell 2018-2020. I dont think minis will be around when your done.I have some drawings from college that I still havent finished yet.I have a lot of projects from work that I wish could of been finished. The map is looking great though I wish i could do maps. well I guess I could just like color pencils in real life better than digital art even though I am graphic designer hahaha.

That would be cool. Now that's a awsome idea that I would be interested in. You should make watto's shop, or the tusken raider camp, or Jabba's palace, or evan the Jawa's big sand crawler. Hell make all of them. I also think their should be a Kamino map. My favorite one would be the Emperor's Throne Room.

Jaba's palace and the sandcrawler have both been done, you just have to go looking for them. I am not sure if they are on the Holocron or not.
