A situation at a tourney came up about a month ago. I was going to have Vader Unleashed use Lightsaber Throw 5 against an enemy Vader Unleashed and and enemy Proxy being adjacent to the target Vader, however Proxy was within 6 of Thrawn(which was on my squad), so Proxy now had force immunity, my opponent and I weren't sure of whether Proxy could be affected by Lightsaber Throw 5 since Darth Vader Unleashed was Vader's target where Proxy also gets attacked because of being adjacent. So I asked one of the other players that usually knows most of the rules(we didn't have an official judge). He said since Proxy had force immunity he couldn't be affected by Lightsaber Throw 5's side effect. I argued that Lightsaber Throw 5 only generates attack so it could affect Proxy. He still said I was wrong, so I took his word for it until I posted this questions on this board. So even though Proxy had force immunity from being within 6 of thrawn, would Lightsaber Throw 5 be able to affect Proxy with my opponent's Vader being the target of Lightsaber Throw 5?

Yes, because it only affects Vader's ability to make attacks.

Lightsaber Throw is always useable against targets who have Force Immunity. Whether you are using the basic version of it, or Vader's LT5, it is still generating an attack for Vader and doesn't matter what your opponent's status in the Force is.

From thise explanation about Vader's LT5(or any LT force ability) that would mean it can also be used on Vong.

Is this correct??

Yes, as both the Vong and a character within 6 of Ysalimari have Force Immunity.

Common sense would tell us that the lightsaber would hit the ground harmlessly shortly after crossing thrawn's force bubble, but the swm universe lacks common sense

That's not entirely true. When you throw a rock, does it immediately fall to the ground as soon as your hand stops pushing it? No. It falls gradually. So, a lightsaber, thrown and then Force pushed by a Jedi would continue to sail through the air, even after it entered a Ysalimiri bubble. It might drop a little towards the ground, but it would still continue to go in the same general direction.

Now, the control needed to hit several adjacent enemies multiple times seems to indicate continual control of the saber through the Force would be necessary, but then you're dealing with that whole common sense thing again. :P

Think of it more like throwing a boomerang.

Doesn't regular LST have a range of 6? If so, wouldn't that preclude you from using it against a FI character? FI says you can't use the force to attack or defend against a character within 6.

There is no range on Force Immunity. Thrawn's Ysalmari has a range of 6 around him. However, if you are outside of that range, you can most certainly target a character within that range with throw. Your reading of the definition of FI is wrong.

No, Ysalamiri says that character's within 6 squares gain Force Immunity. Force Immunity says nothing about range on it at all.

Ok, so if LST is an attack (doesn't it "Replace Attacks"?) then it should not be able to be used against FI characters (i.e. Vong).

It has nothing to do with the fact that it 'replaces attacks' either.

Lightsaber Throw works against characters with Force Immunity because it generates an attack. (This is the lingo that NickName has used to describe the situation in the past.)

Force Powers that require targetting the enemy character do not work on FI characters. But Powers that generate attack(s) can be used because they in effect 'target' the acting character, not the opponent.
