I was checking something on shoebox earlier today and accidently clicked on the wrong squad. It was one I made right after A&E when I wanted to try out the new version of Aurra Sing. I'm wondering how well it would do now that there are so many new force users out there from FU. I was planning to play Vader Unl, Palps, and 3 Ugs this week, but now I'm wondering if I should play this instead.

Jango Fett, JH 56
Aurra Sing, JH 41
Ugnaught 3

or
Darth Vader, Unleashed 50
Emperor Palpitine 40
Ugnaught x3 9

I like the hunters better, personal prefrence. I like to be able to do obscene damage every round, sounds like you are in a force heavy venue at the moment too, I imagine everyone is right now. Good luck to you

I played the Jango/Aurra squad, but it didn't go as well as I'd hoped. First game I had a bye which I hate. Second game I lucked out and played somebody who used bane and Lando DS. With a lucky bit of placement I was able to end a round with Jango taking a double shot on Bane to drop him to 140. Aurra then moved in front of Jango and twin shotted Bane down to 100. I won iniative and did the same thing in reverse to finish Bane off. Then I chased down Lando. Third game I was getting over-heated and wasn't playing nearly as well as usual. I lost to a kid playing Han Scoundral with Chewie RH and filler. I managed 50 gambit points and killed Chewie but that wasn't enough. Moble Evading Han just ate me up. I lost every iniative roll in the game (perma cunning for Han) and up until one at the end Han made every Evade save. Despite that I still managed to get Aurra within striking distance before the final iniative of the game. If I'd won that one she'd have been able to base Han and Twin him with both Jedi hunter and Lightsaber in effect and no Evade roles for Solo.

I still think the squad has potential. If I'd been thinking clearer I would have +remembered to rush Han with Jango and Aurra to base him a lot sooner than the final push at the end. Really bad since I had planned to do exactly that if I faced a piece with Evade.

sounds like it did pretty well, at this point in time, Jedi hunter is probably on of the best abilities in the game. <when A&E was the latest set it wasnt nearly as good, and back in bounty hunter times it was nearly useless>

Yeah, it worked well and even with evil dice (the no iniative and Han's near perfect evading) I still should have won if I'd been playing at my usual level. Nothing to do now except look ahead to my upcoming 150 point tourny.

I had planned on playing the Vader build right up until I stumbled across the Jango one on shoebox. I ended up playing the Jango squad because I figured I'd have better damage output with Jango doubling and Aurra twinning vs the Vader squad where Vader is basicly the only source of damage.

I like the Hunter squad concept here with all the Jedi currently seeing play. I would assume a nice wide open map would be preferred like Mustafar or the Droid Factory. I may need to try this out....

I like the first one personally. It can handle non-jedi as well with flamethrower and blaster barrage.
