I have a 100 point DCI tournament coming up, these are my ideas. What do you like?

46 Han Scoundrel
28 Luke, Hoth Pilot Unleashed
20 Princess Leia
06 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

45 Garm Bel Iblis
35 Luke, Hero of Yavin
13 Chagrian Mercenary Commander
06 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

10 San Hill
41 Aurra Sing, Jedi Hunter
38 Boba, Enforcer
06 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
05 Camaasi Noble

25 Han in Armor
11 Ithorian Commander
27 Lobot
15 Ugnaught Boss
21 Ugnaught Demolitionist x7

(The idea here, of course, being to bring in an MTB with Reinforcements.)

34 Nom Anor
27 Lobot
28 Aqualish Assassin x4
06 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
05 Camassi Noble

(Reinforcements Default - 5 Gran Raiders)

Darth Vader Unleashed
Aurra Sing/Boba Fett Enforcer
Ugnaught Dems x4

I like the san hill squad and the rebel squad with han and luke. I personal favorite san 100 squad is using zuckuss and lando DS instead of boba enforcer. And three uggies for filler. It deals out more damage, and Zuckuss is really good, same with lando.

I think that they're all fine squads, Boris. That is probably more the reason that you didn't get a response, heh. I'd probably do the Han Scoundrel/Luke HPU or San Hill squads just out of personal preference.

I'd be wary of the Ugnaught and Vong squad with Juno being so cheap, I have a hard time keeping her out of rebel squads if I can spare the points.

I'd take them in this order just on my personal preference:

1. Han/Luke

2. San

3. Vader

4. Garm/Luke

5 Nom

6. Han ST/Ugnaughts.

My reason for Nom over Han is that disruptive hurts this squad more than Nom, IMO. Nom is a decent piece on his own, and even in their disrupt you, you still have AAs which are decent cheap pieces. With Han if they disrupt your CEs you're left with a very mediocre shooter and ugnaughts.

I think the Han build is your best bet, definitely. The Garm/Luke and San Hill squads will probably have a decent amount of trouble against Bane or Loda squads. And if you choose to play San, it's a tough call between using Boba or Lando/Zuckuss instead. Personal opinion is that Boba Enforcer can't hit the broadside of a barn sometimes due to his max of +15 attack. Means needing 9s or higher to hit most any high-profile targets in the 100 pt format. Aurra and Boba would need some lucky rolling to take down either Bane or Loda. On the flip side, Bane or Loda would only need 2 rounds of attacks to kill either Aurra or Boba. So, if rolls go your way, you should have a good shot at winning.

Definitely agree with Ruthven on the order in which I'd select these. Though I might even put the Nom squad above the Luke one. Luke HOY is just such a glass cannon, and you don't have anything to back him up (though I guess a Golan for Garm's reinforcements would probably work). If you pull your preferred map (something with a choke point) you might be able to pull it off.

double disruptive has been a big problem with my local scene, so I've gone away from using CEs a lot in my builds, that is why I put Nom and the swarm squad at the bottom.

Really? Double disruptive in 100 points? Tell us of your local meta. There must be an interesting story there.

They use Juno Eclipse and R2-PO, not really much of a story. Juno is a good utility piece for her points. The local group is new to the game so they use what they have.

Well, the judge forgot to sanction the event so we didn't play 100 points. The sanctioned 100 point tournament is now next weekend. I will post how it turned out afterwards. :)

Well all that effort to come up with some combos and then I had to work so I missed the event lol.

I will just save these for the next time we play 100 pts.

Well I went to the LGS today and it was 100 points again lol. So I played San, Boba BH, Lando DS, and Ugnaught Dems x3.

I will post the full results in the tournament report section, but I went 2-1. Lost in the last round to a Nom team with an Ooglithed Felucian Rancor. Missed 5 out of 8 shots with Boba. 2's and 1's just don't get the job done. :(

Needless to say, I threw that d20 in the trash can. ~DSBoom

Should have switched it with someone else when they weren't looking.

I don't give other people my unwanted dice anymore. The last time I saw someone do that, the donee went on to win a convention tournament with that d20 by rolling a total of 3 Disintegrations over the course of 5 rounds of play.

I felt betrayed enough without invoking the possibility of someone critting on me with my former dice somewhere down the line. :P
