Just trying to make sure I have this old interaction clear:

If Exar is trying to Transfer Essence into an ally, where can Yoda use Force Defense the transfer?
a) Within 6 of the unit being transfered to (ie: within 6 of the Dark Hellion Swoop)?
b) Within 6 of Exar Kun? or
c) Both are acceptable?

Transfer Essence can only be cancelled by Defense when within six of Kun.

Wait, wait, wait! Okay, so when a figure is within six of Thrawn, he can't Essence in b/c he is spending the FP on the character he is killing. But now you tell me that since Kun is spending the FP, any character wishing to Cancel it has to be near Kun? Why the hell does this sound like a double standard to me???

Force Defense: A character using this Force Power cancels the effects of a Force Power used by a character within 6.

Is the target using the Force Power? No, so Yoda has to be within 6 of Kun. The difference in the wording is that Force Immunity prevents a character from being affected by Force Powers at all.
