Tyrannus definitely. Give the Rancor Lightsaber Duelist.

Nice combo.

HAHAHA, that's a funny one Bryan. I hadn't even caught that. Hope your opponent doesn't bring Cloud City though. :P

I'm really looking forward to trying out the Revan/Greedo or Revan Quarren combo too.

I seriously think Greedo is the better choice, while not "Mobile" like the quaren, the Free 6 move and 14 attack potential on his cunning, it's the way to go

Just remembered why I like the Quarren better. He can use the other +4 from Revan's CE. So, the Quarren would actually be a +15 attack with Cunning, as opposed to Greedo's +14. And Greedo's is more situational if your opponent puts a non-unique in front of the beatstick. The Quarren can always have more than Greedo as long as it stays close to Revan.

I'm telling you right now, I'm probably more likely to run Revan than anything else. I'm really not THAT much of a Revan fan-boy, but I love the way the piece looks, it has some GREAT abilities, and as of right now, he's my favorite out of all the new pieces. We'll see how I feel come January though.

You better hope you are facing some melee force users if you plan to bring the FRancor with Tyranus. I used this and got positively destroyed by Boba, Merc and Lando DS because I couldn't catch them and do enough damage before they took out the FRancor (not much defense). In theory its good tho, and I would like to try it against some other melee (parry + duelist sounds positively cruel).

we are talking aobut a Dynamic Duo-
Lando DS and Boba Merc as a squad do NOT qualify in our discussion...

I gave this a "test run" against a friend of mine... using Bane/Lando

Ugh!
I got chewed up like cheap jerky
of course Bane walks in with the advantage agianst a force user(s) but damn!

even Lando had no problem hitting either one...

True enough he wouldn't face them both together, but Boba Merc is still a possibility in a DD squad and he can be tough to try and chase down with melee pieces.

Was thinking about this one later after we were chatting about it at the LGS yesterday. Did you not make any of your Parry saves on the Rancor? I mean, I know that would only help so much, and Bane's 200 HP is still a lot to chew through. Oh, I guess if Bane uses LS Throw you can't Parry it either. Bummer. That sounds like it would've been a fun combination.
