Okay, so I'm the idiot who just got ripped apart by Jacen Solo today. Basically, I was running a mobile shooter team (Boba BH, Han Scoundrel, Dashing Lando) against a ST Armor Han NR team (w/ the usual suspects--Mara, Talon, etc).
Basically, my opponent did a very nice job of keeping Jacen where I couldn't see him, while sending Corran Horn on a kamikaze mission where I had to deal with him (which is a clever use for a piece with that much HP).
Long story short, he maneuvered himself into a chance to do an Unleash on Chewy RH and a Rebel Tauntaun, and I assumed he would take the low-hanging fruit. As a result, I fell asleep at the wheel a little bit on getting proper spacing on the figures further back on the map, since I assumed he would not go after them since doing so would involve taking AOO's and waiting an extra round (and thus risking losing initiative and getting Jacen killed). What he did instead was go running right past Chewy and the Tauntaun, taking AOO's galore, gambling big-time on initiative, winning initiative, and then killing:
Senator Leia, R2, Mon Cal Tech specialist, Chewy, and also dropping 30 on Dashing Lando and 60 on Boba BH. I fought the good fight for a while after that, but eventually Mara finished the mop-up job.
All this is to say, if you maneuver well, if you take a big risk on initiative, and if you have an opponent who is smart enough to know Jacen sucks but not smart enough to realize that you nevertheless ought to kill him, Jacen can have his moment. It was, to put it mildly, humbling, although much respect to my opponent (Chris) for setting up the move.
Good Lord, I feel like I just went to confession. Not sure what my penance ought to be.
This is quite a hilarious story; luck of the dice bite everyone at some point.
