Did that OS come as a prize in a crackerjack box?

LOL.

Is there a Microsoft OS that doesn't? :D

Hey now, Windows XP is a great operating system! Definitely undeserving of Crackerjack prize jokes.

Windows ME was pretty bad. Windows Vista? Not too popular around the office...and I'm not sure if you know where I work.

Dunno, I work in IT and have too many bad experiences with XP.
ME isn't that stable, but is okay. Windows 2000 Professional is probably the most stable OS Microsoft have released in recent years IMHO. Wouldn't touch Vista with a barge pole.

But if anyone knows how to get Mini manager working on ME please let me know.

Although at least I can access shoebox from work as I cannot install any software at work.

Does anyone know who runs SWShoebox?

Are they a member of the WotC boards? Do they even play SWM anymore? If the site owner/administrator no longer wants to support the site/game is there a way we can contact him and help?

I -for one- would be willing to help maintain the site if possible. The emails I've sent to feedback have bounced back to me (see below message).

Not sure about how to get it to run on ME, but it is not a program that has to be installed. It's a stand-alone executable. I don't have install access on my computer at work either, but I'm able to run it just fine.

I pretty much use it for the collections and squad building, so that is what i truly need. At this point i would say Chuck is it.

I'm missing Shoebox as well. If the current owner doesn't want to maintain it and is willing to let someone else give it a shot, I'd be happy to lend my paltry html stills where needed or money or whatever. I really miss being able to goof around with squads between students at work.

Yes I have tried contacting the owner through just about every avenue as I have been thinking the same thing... I have offered to help work on it or whatever he need but I get no response at all.... makes you wonder if something catastrophic did not happen in real life.... I sure hope not

At this point, I think life may have happened to him.

I think he updated the DDM page with the last set. He also might have shifted over to that game.

I hope the guy is alright, but I also hope someone takes over or we get news as to what happened.
