I was reading his card and I realized that it says nothing about having to be within 6 squares to spend his force points. Does this mean that I can be across the board and still spend his force points or is this just an oversight and not supposed to work this way?

Yeah you can do that, but then you don't get Illusion. You only get that while within 4 squares. Why would you want to spend 17 points to give a character 4 Force Points?

So that I can use the force spirits force points to use sith alchemy, use it to transfer essence, instead of spending my own force points, for force lightning, maybe even burst lightning twice with maladi. A lot of things I could do with those 4 force points from across the board. considering I could use revan to get across the board in the 2nd round and then use alchemy and still have all of my characters force points... might be useful.

I agree and I think that knowing that this is boardwide will be useful to a lot of creative people.
