I've recently added some new maps and tiles to the Vassal mod.
Download it here! These maps and (many) tiles include the following from Mapmaker:
-The Nova Eclipse (also with Passenger Variant)
-Offworld Docking Port (also with Passenger Variant)
-All of the 5x8 tiles from his recent Alien Starship, Deck Space, Railway Station, and Surveilance Station productions. As always, the tiles are accessible by clicking Tiles/Units and then Tiles, at which point you'll see several new tabs/headings. These tiles will work the same as the others.
-The new mod also includes the Cargo Bay Floor and the Railway Floor, which are Chris' blank maps, useful for serving as the base upon which you place the tiles to design your map layouts.
Also, I've added the following maps from Jedicartographer:
-Cantina --
it's on the Restricted Maplist, and now it's on Vassal too-Rebel Fortress --the other side of the Cantina map
-In addition, I’ve updated the Theed map with the newest version (in the Restricted listing), though the original Theed map (from MP1) is still listed in its normal place.
Lastly, I've made a slight change to how the maps are organized in the map menu. Now all the Restricted maps are listed with a
" **" after their name. The Restricted List maps are all found at the top of the list in alphabetical order (according to the names given in the SWMGPA Floor Rules), to help clarify them as maps on the Restricted list. Of course, the rest of the maps are listed as normal.
For now, and until we can get it uploaded on this site, you can go to this link to download the new mod:
SWMinis.rarPrior to downloading the new mod, I suggest that you go into your /Vassal folder and delete your current “SWMinis.vmod” file (it could also be listed simply as “SWMinis”). Then download the newer version and place it into your /Vassal folder.
Version 10.2 of the VASSAL Mod is now active. If you have 10.1 or 10.0, you are now out of date and it's possible that some things might not work quite right if you try to synch in with someone else who is using 10.2.
