Hi there!

My newest sci-fi maps, intended for mystery tournaments at Gen Con and then for public release, are now in the process of gathering funding for the print run. They are designed to connect seamlessly with, and expand, one of the maps I illustrated for WotC back in the day and which many of you probably already have, and each poster will have at least one map designed to be tournament-friendly with an eye on the elusive restricted-list prize.

If the funding goal is reached, one double-sided poster gets printed. If we raise more, more pieces of this epic location get printed as well.

You can see a new starship that will be featured on the posters, and a few other hints about the contents, at the Kickstarter page: http://kck.st/MEtqAb

The timeframe for this project is extremely short, so please support it if you can, and help me get the word out as quickly as possible...

Thanks, folks!!

Chris has let me take a look at the finished copies of these maps. I'm very excited for the tournament potential on them. One, I think, will bring a unique flavor if it's on the Restricted map list, and the other has some qualities I have longed hope to bring into the restricted meta.

Thanks, Celestial!

The first goal has been passed as of this morning, so at least one of these new posters will see print. In fact, I've already sent the first pair of maps to the printer. The second set is pending... and if we can double the goal, then it, too, will be printed in time for Gen Con, giving the event organizers more options.

The four maps on these two posters complement each other and work together in a remarkably cool way. I sincerely hope we can get them both into print at the same time.

I'd love to support, but I want to get my maps at GenCon. What do you suggest?

Also, are you gonna have poster style available, or just folded?

I second Tim's question. If I can pick up my map at Gencon, I'll contribute to this kickstarter drive. I'd also like to receive my poster in a rolled (rather than folded) format if possible.

Hi, guys! Yes, you can certainly pick up your maps at Gen Con. I'll have a list of backers with the pledge amounts; you can choose your rewards at my booth (#2022) any time after the associated events have begun.

As for rolled versus folded: most of the copies I'll have on hand will be folded and pre-packaged with their bonus terrain cards. I would *like* to offer rolled copies, but there are three problems I'll need to overcome to make that happen: space in my vehicle will be extremely limited this year, so I'll need to make sure I have room for everything else before packing in unfolded copies. Secondly: Space in the booth will also be limited because I'm sharing with d20 Radio. Same situation...I've gotta make sure they have enough room, too. Finally: last year I had a lot of unfolded copies of my new maps damaged in transit; they just don't hold up that well to handling. I'll need to find a way to keep them protected both in the car and in the booth.

So: I'll see what I can do, but I can't promise, yet, that tubed maps will be on hand at the convention.

I continue to be blown away by the generosity of this community.

We're down to 11 hours now, and the goals for both posters have been surpassed. The only goal not yet met is $10K for a new set of cavern terrain cards appropriate to any genre of gaming (much like my Forsaken Lands posters). We're at $8,303 right now, so this could actually happen.

Please let your D&D playing friends know about it, too, since they now stand to get a useful product out of this as well.

Thanks everyone!

90 minutes left, $835 to go to make the 3rd goal.

A rough preview of the cavern tile set is up at the KS link.

I got the mystery map. It is very, very cool. One side would make a great and interesting Restricted addition. I plan on picking up the other one tomorrow. Especially since it is desgined to connect to one of my favorite old maps.
