If I have a swap squad with mas and an empath, can I swap a savage who is within 6 of the empath with a character outside 6 of the empath?

Only the Savage character needs to be within 6 squares of the Empath, not the other character being swapped in (as long as it doesn't have Savage).

I've used this technique a lot with my fallen angel squad.
Reven
Celeste
Lobot
Sith wrangler
Raks x2
Uggie x2
Mouse x3

Keep the Raks near the wrangler and a mouse, run reven up 20 and swap in one of the Raks who now has +4, +10 from Celeste and overwhelming power from the wrangler to hit for 60 possible 90 and start farming Raks while thinning out your opponents activations. A very fun squad to play and probably the best named squad ever lol
"Fallen Angel" has become mine and Tims SWM theme song because of this squad. We rock out to this before every tourney.

You rock out to Poison?

Yes we do!!! It's kind of funny actually cause we related every line of that song to that squad which is why it's so good.

"Rollin the dice of her life"

Come and join us Deri!! I know you'll have fun Rocking out to Rakgoul disease ... Um I mean Poison..!!

this I gotta see. Go for it:

Poison

Fallen Angel

Songwriters: DALL, BOBBY / MICHAELS, BRET / JOHANNESSON, BRUCE ANTHONY / ROCKET, RIKKI / ROCKET, RIKKI

She stepped off the bus out into the city streets
Just a small town girl with her whole life
Packed in a suitcase by her feet

But somehow the lights didn't
Shine as bright as they did
On her mama's TV screen

And the work seemed harder
And the days seemed longer
Than she ever thought they'd be

But you know you got to stick to your guns
When it all comes down
Cause sometimes you can't choose
It's like heads they win
Tails you're gonna lose
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/p/poison/fal ... 09923.html ]
Chorus:
Win big--Mama's fallen angel
Lose big--livin' out her lies
Wants it all--Mama's fallen angel
Lose it all, rollin' the dice of her life

Now she found herself in the fast lane livin' day to day
Turned her back on her best friends, yeah
And let her family slip away

Just like a lost soul
Caught up in the Hollywood scene
All the parties and the limousines

Such a good actress hiding all her pain
Trading her memories for fortune and fame

Just a step away from the edge of a fall
Caught between heaven and hell
Where's the girl I knew a year ago

Chorus

Too much too soon
Or just a little too late
Cause when her ship came in
She wasn't there and it just wouldn't wait

Solo, chorus out

Strange point of interest: CC Deville's real name BRUCE ANTHONY JOHANNESSON

I stand by rocking out to Poison!

But yes Jake - take it away. You have been given the line by line challenge.

This is what I posted after the Missouri regional. Most still applies but some of it has changed.

Fallen Angel by Poison (Rakgouls, duh)
Squad designed by Jake K.
This is the theme song of the squad (could possibly be the only squad that has a theme song)
Enjoy!

She stepped off the bus
out into the city streets
Just a small town girl
with her whole life
packed in a suitcase by her feet

But somehow the lights didn't
shine as bright as they did
on her mama's TV screen

And the work seemed harder
And the days seemed longer
than she ever thought they'd be

But you know you got
to stick to your guns
when it all comes down
'Cause sometimes you can't choose
It's like heads they win
tails you're gonna lose

(chorus)
Win big, Mama's fallen angel
Lose big, livin' out her lies
Wants it all, Mama's fallen angel
Lose it all, rollin'
the dice of her life

Now she found herself in the
fast lane livin' day to day
Turned her back on her
best friends, yeah
And let her family slip away

Just like a lost soul
caught up in the Hollywood scene
all the parties and the limousines

Such a good actress
hiding all her pain
Trading her memories
for fortune and fame

Just a step away from
the edge of a fall
Caught between heaven and hell
Where's the girl I knew a year ago?

(chorus)

Too much too soon?
Or just a little too late?
Cause when her ship came in
she wasn't there and
It just wouldn't wait

"Stepped off the bus, out into the city streets."- I'm on a bus now headed back home from that disaster.

"Just a small town girl, with her whole life packed in a suitcase by her feet."- Rakgouls by her feet.

"But somehow the lights didn't shine as bright as they did on her mamas tv screen."- it didn't work like it did in playtests with this squad.

"The work seemed harder and the days seemed longer than she ever thought they'd be."- when you can't turn rakgouls, it makes for harder, longer matches.

"But you know, you gotta stick to your guns when it all comes down, cause sometimes you can't choose, it's like heads they win, tails, you gonna lose."- wait, I have no guns, and I lost.

"Win big, Mama's fallen angel. Lose big, liven out her lies. Wants it all, Mama's fallen angel. Lose it all, rollin the dice of her life."- win, lose, wants it all, rollin dice; Need I say more.

"Now she found herself living in the fast lane day to day."- Reven moving up 20 and swapping her in is a fast lane.

"Turned her back on her best friends and let her family slip away."- watching her rakgouls die, nooooo!!

"Just like a lost soul, caught up in the Hollywood scene, all the parties and limousine."- @$"?#% this meta.

"Such a good actress, hiding all her pain. Traiding her memories for fortune and fame."- more like trading your scrubs for more rakgouls. Yeaaah! Oh wait it didn't work and I lost. I guess she wasn't such a good actress.

"Just a step away from the edge of a fall. Caught between Heaven and Hell."- Celeste was constantly torn between Jedi and sith.

"Where's the girl I knew a year ago?"- Celeste's mini came out a year ago.

"To much to soon, or just a little to late. Cause when her ship came in, she wasn't there, and it wasn't gonna wait."- I ran in to soon or got started to late and the timer wasn't waiting for me. That's the way the tourny went for me.

Celeste
Reven
Lobot
Raks x2
Uggie x2
Mice x3
Sith Wrangler

Nicely done.

I would not suggest anyone try that exercise with Deri's choice song.

 Yeah, it's so bad that it's hilarious! This guy (died recently) was apparently a huge star in Russia for a while, though.
