Just trying to more acutely define "cancelled" in this:

"Thought Bomb: Force 5, replaces turn or when this character is defeated: 80 damage to all living characters within 6 squares; save 11 to reduce damage to 40. Remove this character from play. This Force power cannot be canceled."

So - if I have this right - "canceled" means you cannot use Force Defense or Force Absorb on it.

What about Ysalamiri? Does it cancel the bomb? My guess is no, since the bomb still goes off, it's just everyone in the bubble is immune.

Also - is there anything else that I am not thinking of that could cancel a FP (other than this one)?

You cannot use Force Absorb/Defense (it is explicitly stated in the Glossary about those abilities).

If the character with Thought Bomb is under the influence of Ysalimiri, they cannot use Thought Bomb as Ysalimiri states you cannot spend Force Points. If the character is out of range of Ysalimiri but the blast radius would normally affect characters within the Ysalimiri bubble, they would not be affected as they have Force Immunity. That doesn't "cancel" the ability as the ability still occurs.

Only Force Absorb and Force Defense cancel Force abilities.

yep, I learned this the hard way in PA. Luckily Mace had already racked up 2 crits to that point so it didn't end up mattering too much.
