Chicago was a close 2nd with 37 that same year.

This year nothing has come close to Michigan

I honestly think Chicago, Kokomo, Janesville and Danville will all get pretty close to Michigan. They all basically share the same group of bigger local play groups.

I hope you're right. I should have said this year nothing has come close to Michigan . . . Yet.

It all comes down to schedules and who is willing to travel. Isn't the Danville crew not going to Chicago?

Yeah there were 30 last year in maryland. Best attended regional of the 2011 if I'm not mistaken.

Including the six Atlanta people who spent 24 hours together in a 1995 Chevy Astrovan getting to and from. Unfortunately we're not really up for that much of a drive again, at least not until some more time passes and we forget how long it was.

We did have a lot of fun when we weren't driving, and everyone was great to meet and play with. Here's hoping this year goes as well as last!

Well, Michigan's got a contingent of at least four (Eric, Lou, Jason, and Will) currently preparing to crash in Jim's closet. That should help the numbers some

The actual attendance last year was 28, and the tournament was held in Maryland. The Atlanta guys were great and a lot of fun to have here. The Michigan guys have proven to be the same, as we had a blast playing minis and Ascension last night. And Laura... do not fear. Jason apparently slept well and I fed him this morning. He should be ready to go.

If we get a contingency from Virginia at the regional today, it should push us over 20. Heck, there were 10 guys in my basement playing games last night.

My prediction: the winner will be playing O/R or Imperial.

Pretty sure we had 38 at wi in 2010. So I have won the biggest regional ever well tied. Top that Tim and was 2nd at the third biggest.

J says they have 21 in PA.

Top 4 playoffs started about 20 minutes ago.

That's all I know. Three of the four from Michigan were playing Mace/Skyguy (my Mace in the Face, possibly with some slight variations). There were at least two guys playing Mandos, but I don't know the particular builds. Oh, and someone played a Maul/Revan/Kavar build (I think).

Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I meant Kaan? I was sort of napping when we talked about it lol.

I'm surprised no one else has posted anything yet.

All I know is that Jason lost in the finals to Matt Spry (spryguy), who was playing Storm Commandos.

Sorry I don't have any more information, but congratulations, Matt!

Matt Spry won (congrats) with an Imp squad (Wier, Tyber, Double Bubble and Stormies)
Jason (urbanjedi) was second with Mace in the Face
I was third with my Mace squad
Gerry (Darph Nader) was fourth with a Vong squad

Lots of Mace yesterday and zero OR. Hinkbert took the WNY regional w/his Homicidal Mace/GOWK squad.
