Well the good news is I picked the finals correctly now just need UK to finish off my bracket for the $$$!

Right now at the 18th green at the Shell Open in Houston, PGA is a very cool event to see in person.

So I've been thinking about the Friday Night Follies line-up and here's my thoughts...

SWM Royal Rumble - 200 point teams, (follow standard squad construction rulz)

Wings of War - team combat Allies v Germany (3 rounds) rulz will be explained.

Open gaming - axis & allies, Diplomacy, Naval Battles etc...

Start time 7ish in the PM, till whenever sleep becomes a necessity. So let me know who all is going to be here, as I'll need to coordinate food and tables etc...

Don't know what you're referring to, but Royal Rumble is a specific format that each player has three 100pt (or less) teams of 2 figures - NO FACTION RESTRICTIONS! You play inside the Rattatak arena, each player starting one of their squads adjacent to one of the 4 doors. Once on of your squads dies, you bring in another team at the start of the next round. You earn points for every character in which you make the killing blow. Last man standing earns points for their own figures not killed. Most points wins.

It's an awesome multiplayer format. I was excited when I read that you guys might be playing it, until I realized it might not be actually the real Royal Rumble. I'll try and dig up the thread outlining the rules. I encourage you to try it.

Lol, you can't go throwing around the title "SWM Royal Rumble" for any old thing. Gotta reserve it for the real deal!

Fair enough Tim, the rules we played for the 200 at FrostyCon must be a variant given what you've said above. However, I'd like to see the thread, as there's no reason not to include it at the Friday Night Follies.

Here's the page on Royal Rumble. Love to see you guys try it out. There will be a Royal Rumble Team Tournament at GenCon - so you might wanna prep a bit by playing!
