When someone is playing something with Reserves or reinforcements do they need to have them ready right there at the match table or can they get up and go fiddle in their stuff gettin what they want? I just wondered if it is in the rules somewhere that they need to have what they are bringin it right there ready or if they can go get it and delay the game.

It's a good idea to keep anything you might use close at hand so as not to slow the game down too much. There's no hard and fast rule about this, but if it takes more than 5 minutes to figure out what to add, that is probably too long. In a tournament event, I would award your opponent a free round to make up for the time you spent searching if it took you longer than 5 minutes.

Generally what my gang does is keep a seperate section in their boxes with the minis set aside for what they think they will use as reserves. Generally our goal locally is two minutes. We get that number from the 2 minute sideboarding time during a magic tournament match.
