alright this is what i got going through my head, i have been playing lancers for a while now and love them, however i want something more do do with my droids so i have an idea and would like some input on it.
General greivous droid army commander
4-lom bounty hunter
ig-88 bounty hunter
ig-86 assassin droid
battle droid officer
san hill
poggle the lesser
geonosian drones x11

i know similar infact to the lancer squad hower no strafe and no pawn to the dark side so then again i guess not really similar. i like this squad because they are all getting a +8/+4 and they all have either bounty hunter to bonus them further well past the +20 mark not including dice roll and or they have opportunist and twin. So just imagine ig-88 double twin on a unique figure that is activated get a +27 for 30 damage a shot four times. yeah i know they are kinda dependent on commander effects and bastilla squads will hurt them however they are also good independently with out the commander effect yeah maybe they dont have twin and stupid big pluses but still can handle there own. Also against Critdu squads kinda hurts when your crit doesnt completly kill me. Another thing is the problem that i had been having with poggles bombs were the fact that they didnt have a trigger, it was like a terrorist with bombs strapped to his chest with out a detonator. so now with ig-88 they have one flamethrower. Also with him i c an stop a lot of activations if need with the sonic stunner, i know i may be putting too many eggs in one basket however i think this could be workable. i put san and poggles in because of everyone having opportunist atleast it will actually allow me to use my opportunist when needed.

let me know what you think, i cant take all of the credit for this one either, the gentleman or gentle lady who posted the "meatbag annhilators" really spurred forward my thoughts on this thanks

I'd go with IG-88, Assassin Droid instead of Bounty Hunter. More HP, good defense and Pulse Cannon to clear away scrubs. 4-LOM is great with the twin paralysis. Good damage to. Not a bad option for your first activation of a round.

yeah i dont have ig-88 asssassin droid unfortainatly i looked him up and seen his last ability with sight i loved it and for one point less and more hp i really liked it, however, i dont have that one currently i am currently trying to get the majority of any and all of the bounty hunters for one reason or another i have just really fallen for them. but with out having the assassin droid i still think that this is a very workable squad however it has yet to see any play testing at all.

also the 4-lom really like that one a lot due to the sheer fact of anything that has base 30 and is hitting twice is awesome but with more text is even better love the paralyze on him.

I don't see that the battle droid officer is doing much for you since his CE only affects non-unique droids. Why not drop him for a few ugnaughts since you don't have any form of door control in there right now, plus it gives you a couple extra activations.

Well I didn't realize battle Droid officer was non unique so that's a goodidea

i played this squad on friday and loved how the interaction between me and the opponent was yes i may have only won once because i found the big weakness to this squad is disruption match one was against a buddy named daniel, he is always making weird ideas and forcing them to work, kinda like square peg round hole kinda but he makes it fit even if he has to get the sandpaper out. this week he played something with Loda which was interesting, but he ended up rat holing luke into a corner in which he wass unable to get out and i surrounded him with poggle bombs luke died by explostion the rest were all handled very nicely by ig and 4 lom they are just awesome with twin. the next match was against Sam he was playing what he called NR pile, really was just a pile of anything that was good in NR and that was it however he had kyle katarn in it and totally neutered the army as he played correctly be just keeping his squad up each others but so my bombs would have no effect up close. the last match of the evening was with kenny he was play OR sticks with c2-po and r2d2 from a&e which was his only source of disruption but was enough to royally mess me up. so yeah nice squad however dies horribly to disruption and probably alot more
