Good point, that title does fit a bit better for the stats. And maybe throwing on another new ability would help his cost:
Skilled (this character can use abilities that replaces attacks twice instead of once)
I'm counting on the Jedi hunter+evasive maneuvers to help him against most pieces in epic format. Well of a piece like this was ever made.

I was wondering, has anyone thought to do a Ben Skywalker? The produced set has a Jacen and Jaina, and an Anakin Solo, but I haven't found a Ben Skywalker, and I think that would make a cool character for NR. Maybe a Ben Skywalker, Jedi Knight ?

If we want to make Bendak Starkiller,I think he should get something like this:
Duelist +20 ( +6 Attack,+20 Damage agints the target if it's within 12 squares,and no other character within 6 squares from this character.)
He was a duelist,wasn't he?...

Demagol is great. Experimentation is nice to... ,I like it.

I have recently updated a couple of custom characters I made over a year ago. I had completely forgotten about them until looking into the custom units by ranking and being shocked that my Wedge custom made it to the top of the list. The idea is that I have always wanted vehicles to function more real vehicles, rather than just as units. At first I did this with a CE that allowed huge allies with mounted weapons to gain troop carts. There was a glaring flaw in this as it could be disrupted or bastilaed, ejecting the pilots from their vehicles. I hated that, so I was able to resolve this by making a new ability, "Squad Leader", which had the same mechanic, but could not (as of date) be disrupted. It is not perfect. You still have the problem of your pilots being ejected once the unit with the special ability is defeated... but that I can live with this side effect.

The idea is that you can make vehicles actually function like vehicles by granting them troop cart. The commanders then provide pilots a special ability that makes them better suited at "piloting" their vehicles. I have created a few special abilities that allow the pilot to replace their attack by giving their troop cart ally some form of bonus. I have posted these characters below for anyone interested in viewing them.

I'd personally love to see this addition to the game. I know it is "outside of the box", but i think with some help of the V-set powers that be, it could fill a missing hole in the game, and really give a good cinematic feel to the game.

I was trying to think of a way to make all the force users that aren't commanders in the Imperial faction more competitive. Here's my take on what min could make that happen.

Imperial Inquisitor Tremayne

The thought behind this character is to give all the unused non-commander Vaders (and even the old Mara Jade) and non-unique force users a lot more playability and competitiveness. I realize this is a powerful CE to give, especially since Mithrawn is giving everyone opportunist, so accordingly I made this cost for Tremayn 45pts to make it so you can't abuse it to much. You can still have a Darth Vader,Jedi Hunter doing a tripple twin attack at 40 dmg a hit against force users, but realize that he still costs 75 points to get that. Another potentially powerful combo with this CE is Darth Vader, Unleasher with his Lightwaber Throw 5, where he can attack a person within sight for 30 dmg a hit with two attacks with twin, basically 120dmg to the activated target and two adjacent activated targets. Anyways, I think having a CE like what Tremayn has would help out the faction use more different squad builds. On the other hand, maybe just haveing a CE where followers with a Force rating gain +10 damage would be good enough. For example-

CE: Followers within 6 squares with a Force Rating gain +10 damage.

If he had this CE, obviously his cost would be bumped down by 10 points or so, but I can see mostly people will just stick with Arica squads if this is the case, since she'd be doing 30 dmg with twin Blaster Barrages.

Just some idea's I'd like to throw out there. I'm pretty sure this post should be moved to a new thread for V-set 5 since playtesting for V-set 4 is underway, so technically this idea for a character is for V-set 5.

I like the idea, but I think restricting it so it the Vaders with Lightsaber Throw don't get it might be better - seems a bit too much to allow from range, not to mention Scourge getting Twin Djem So. :shock:

A few of the Vaders would still be beasts when based, but as you said, cost would limit abuse.

I really like the buff for the various non-uniques, Imperial Knights and so forth. They need help!

Maybe change it to non-unique followers. That would keep Vader from getting it, but still let the people who really need a boost access it. Then things like the knights, dark side adept, and reborn become a bit more playable. I personally love playing the knights. Nothing funnier than hitting a cortosis gauntlet on virt set Windu's first attack.
