Garm Bel Iblis has definitely become my favorite piece of the Force Unleashed, which is very surprising, even to me. He is just so good. He fits very well into a variety of squads, instead of just one kind of squad. ie, Boba Fett, Merc centered mobile squads and up close double momentum squads. I also love the fact that I can bring in a free turret or seven activations. It's nice to have a good squad that can have 50 points of reinforcements. (As opposed to Lobot/Jabba). Does anyone else like him as much as me?

I'm still working out the best way to use him and the best squad for him - I'm thinking it will be Rebel, but I'm still playing with it.

Right now it's hard to tell which one I like more - Garm or Han in STA

He is great. Too bad his CE doesn't work on Luke, JM the only downside.

Yup, this is the ONLY thing that disappointed me about Garm. Otherwise, he is absolutely awesome. Now....if Nickname will just change his ruling about being able to use FPs with the CE, then I'll be REALLY happy. But he really is an awesome piece, and it was a pain to face the Golan Turret's that came in through reinforcements in a couple different games over the weekend. That's rough stuff.

Mara is actually a bad option. She doesn't have Double. She does better by herself than with Garm.

I just have to think up more minis that work really well with him.

Han of Hoth obviously (double, cunning) boba fett the first (double) are good choices.

I was thinking biggs but if he moves deadeye/careful shot don't apply so that's out.

Chew 3P0 is good

Some other choices off hand:
Corran Horn (he'd be great with MR2)
Jaina/Jacen Solo
Mara Jade

Luke (pick one from the rebels pretty much all benefit)
Obi-wan
Jango BH (he will be good)
Komari (4 attacks and moving 3)
Calo Nord
Tamtel Skreej (great pic)
Djas Puhr (woot!)
Baby Boba

Chew3P0 is AMAZING with Garm. Especially with the Rebel leader and some Mon Cal Mercs.

Mara + Garm + Verpine Tech in the reinforcements = adding 4 jolts to the 120 damage cunning assault. The CE doesn't help her but I don't think that's the main thing Garm brings to the table - kinda like Lobot isn't about the override. It might be a mistake to think that a squad with Garm needs to have double/triple attackers playing a major role. (Personally I want to try pairing him with the Felucian on Rancor though)

Rebel/NR reinforcements give you a lot of options - specialty pieces like the Troop Cart, the Verpine, the Turret, Rebel Vanguards, and maybe even the speeder bike - great for tailoring to the squad you're facing; a pile of Mon Cals for activations; Tauntauns for Recon; WFF's for hard-hitting offense; and just like Lobot, Garm is always going to be adding new tricks to his arsenal. (Rebels should probably take a bit of a break for a few sets, but the New Republic is overdue for some new non-uniques.)

He's one of my favorites for this set too.
