Since people posted it on the ACTUAL WotC site, the company is going to inform them. Trust me.

Guys, I've tried to find them today, but apparently, they are catching on and posting them in their system for the normal price of $59.99. I'll continue to look, but it appears the gig is up.

I only know of one person in my area who was able to find them, and he only got 3 of them. I check 4 different targets and couldn't get it at any of them. Around here anyways, seemed like they had either already caught the mistake, or the stores were sticking hard to the shelf date of the 26th. Luckily, I was able to get one of the 3 that the other guy found. It's really quite crazy that this happened at all though. :(

I'm just really glad I was able to get 2 of them at that price. They had the computer glitch fixed by monday morning in East Columbus.

What buffoon went and did that? They ruined it!!

I guess if the stock had depleted at $10 and Target lost money they'd be less likely to do exclusives in the future for minis....which would suck? If I went on the Wizos boards anymore I'd chastise the rat!!!

Just so everyone is straight on this, WotC was NOT losing any money by these things selling for $10. TARGET was losing money. WotC sells their product to the stores at a fixed price, and gives the stores an MSRP (suggested price point), but the store decides what to charge for it. It is impressive to see how fast they fixed the problem though.

yea i suppose that is right....it's not like Wizards would be sitting and waiting for reimbursement from Target for the product. oh well....I still hate the idea of exclusives.

Side note, I went to my Target a couple minutes ago and they didn't have the # loaded in the system. Maybe a blackout until release date to prevent this issue? Guess I have to wait a few more days.

Hi,

Could someone here help me getting one of those hoth battle packs? I live in brazil (have paypal) and needless to say, it`s impossible to buy one here (being target exclusive only make it even harder than impossible).

anyone willing to help could pm me.

Any other SWM gamers in CT.....West Hartford/Farmington Target has 4 of these Hoth Packs. They were full price but they were there. Stratford CT Target doesn't even know if they're getting them.

edit: I pulled the Desert Skiff and Chewie/C3PO. Should I sell the Skiff or does anyone forsee a gargantuan Jabba's sailbarge sometime that would make a fun scenario for multiples?

According to a post on the WotC site, they were supposed to be put on the shelves today (26Nov) on an end cap display. I went to my local Target in Kentwood, Michigan at lunch, and sure enough, there they were on an end cap, packaged with a bonus bounty hunters booster, at full price ($59.99). So if your local Target hasn't had them before, try checking again today.

Engineer got me one last week at full price, so I didn't buy another one - but I have saved my receipt. Now I'm just going to watch for them to go on sale or on clearance - they take up a lot of shelf space so I don't expect Target to keep them around very long if they don't sell. (But I really hope they sell out so Target and WotC consider this a success, and will be willing to do it again sometime!)

I'm sure glad to have round based, blue carded versions of some of the A&E minis!
