This will all depend on venue and their hours. Will have this info by end of the week.

Alright, we have a location! I'll update the original post with this same information, but I can tell you that MGM will be hosted by Dizzy Dugout in Collinsville, IL! Matt is still getting info on entry fee, hours of events, etc, but at least we have a place to play!

Collinsville is NOT St. Louis... It's not even close to St. Louis, really.

13 miles from the Arch via I-70. Not close at all. :P

I've been there. It's a LONG 13 miles. :P

Also worth pointing out that the Arch is at the edge of the city, not in the center or anything crazy like that. And typically when people refer to St. Louis, if they aren't talking about Market St., odds are good they are actually talking about one of the suburbs.

Fair enough. But hey, it IS a bit closer to both of us, unless you were going to fly in. :D

The location of the store is closer, but it actually decreases my chances of going, as I would have had a free place to crash in St. Peters. Now I would be driving an additional hour (as opposed to 20 minutes) and back on top of attending the event. I'm no longer sure if I can attend, and it will depend a great deal on whether anyone else locally is going. The odds of me being there went way down with this decision.

Jim doesn't live in Marion anymore, either, which might have been the other option for me.

Found a hotel just off 159 that is going for 55$ a night + tax. I imagine it would be needed for two nights? Still pretty manageable if you get 5-6 guys in a room ala GenCon

I'd like to try and make this, but my car was stolen last month, so I am at the mercy of other people's schedules. I am in no place right now to even have a clue if I can make it. I CAN however, say I would *like* to go.

Ouch man, that's rough. Hope that gets sorted out.

I'm in the same boat with schedules, minus the stolen car, so I'm not complaining. :|

BTW, if Mas and Bastila are getting hate about counting as Commanders, so too should the Yammosk.

Well, Brad, that hate had been reformed. Revised rules coming soon.

Furthermore, what exactly is counting as a CE on these characters? IOW, what's to stop me from playing Lah, Lah, Anor, Yammosk and declaring my first three as my Commander Effects?

I understand that you dont get board wide ces and sas if he is not one. I do believe I am the reason he will have to be one now though durring play testing I used lah, lah, and an advanced agent officer with a yommask. Nobody other than spry with an amazing sith squad could touch me. Oh and Brad nom is a bad idea in this format lol.

No, he's not. He's the perfect counter to one of the best squads out there for this format.

I will have to look into that.
