Here's a squad I've been fiddling around with a bit lately, and was just wondering what everyone thought. This is intended to be a competitive squad.

--Ladies of the New Republic--
56 Jaina Solo, Sword of the Jedi
45 Mara Jade, Jedi
29 Ganner Rhysode
27 Lobot
23 General Wedge Antilles
10 Luke Skywalker, Force Spirit
9 General Dodonna

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 8 R7 Astromech Droid
(Lobot) 6 Mouse Droid x2
(Lobot) 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

Thanks for any help!

I made one very much like this, so I'll be reading any comments with interest.

True, but Lobot is a household appliance, and Luke is a ghost, thus they don't count. And I certainly won't be relying on Wedge and Ganner for damage output.

So...any actual input? lol. I considered dropping Lobot and just throwing 2 R7s, 2 Mice and 2 Uggies in the base squad.

You can do without Wedge. Mara and Ganner have Stealth and Jaina has Deflect, so Mobile and Evade aren't really as important. A substitute could be Jarael (always has Evade).

And who is Luke attached to, Mara or Jaina?

Depends on the matchup. If I think Jaina is going to need the Mettle, I'll attach him to her. If I think Mara will be able to survive long enough to Assault on two high-cost pieces, I'll attach him to hr for the Renewal.

Although I understand why you want to use wedge I agree you could loose him from the build easily and if your droping him I would loose luke force spirit also and grab yoda force spirit which will leave you 13 points. I also understand ganner but if your looking for the ladies then he has to go for Liea skywalker JK which will now put you at 17 points left to spend. Or if you keep luke spirit then 27 points. which then I would choose jarael or juhani. But for the strongest squad I would go with jedispyder's advice.

Jaina having Deflect is nice, but if she gets caught in Dash's crosshairs, being able to deflect one of the shots will be of little solace. I agree that careful positioning is key, but I'm not a very good player, so Wedge helps me keep Jaina alive. :)

Justim I would drop Ganner for Leah and a mouse. The rerolls om the saves will save your butt. Ganner is normaly needed do to a lack of mobility but Jaina can getup there fast while mara gets set up for the big hits.
