(200pts. 17 activations)

Tell me what you think of this one please, maul is supposed to go in and tear up a threat, while the IGs go cleaning crew and clean up the mess. Perferred reinforcements would be an MTB and 6 mice

You don't need Whorm with Maul. He already has Twin. For the points I would rather bring Grievous and then use Whorm's points for more Droids.

Whorm is for the IG-86s, and is well worth is points when you have 3 of them. The squad is deadly-scary. 14 fodder is plenty for the MTB, perhaps even overkill. You could consider dropping some fodder for another R7...3 overrides in the base squad is very powerful.

Yeah, I think this might be the best Separatist Maul squad, or at least the best squad type for him. I agree with TINT, though; I'd drop 2 Uggies and a Mouse to get another R7 in the base squad. You still have 15 activations base, so that's 21 acts at the first round. That should give you enough acts for those important first 2 rounds, and you've still got enough fodder after that to keep up with the MTB.

This looks pretty deadly! I usually use Sora Bulq in this kind of build, but i'll try it out with Maul sometime.

Pretty solid build. It's basically the Sora Bulq interference squad, which was Dooku LotDS before him, now with Maul. As mentioned, Whorm is for the IGs. I would drop the R7 for a couple of Battle Droids. Never hurts to have some combined fire for the IGs on tough targets, and if you really need/want double/tripple override, that's what Lobot is for :)

--You got mauled--
57 Darth Maul, Sith Infiltrator
27 Lobot
20 General Whorm Loathsom
48 IG-86 Assassin Droid x3
12 Gha Nachkt
10 San Hill
7 R7 Astromech Droid
6 Battle Droid x2
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
6 Mouse Droid x3

(199pts. 16 activations)

What about this new one, I took out some filler for 2 battle droids pretty much. As therisnotry said, triple override is very powerful, but imo, it's not necessary in the base squad. Now my only concern is that if I do use mtb, what's gonna be my kill switch...

only teak I would make is drop on IG and an uggie for an A series assassin droid. Having the before hit (advantageous) as well as the after hit (IGs with opportunist) is awesome. Accurate shot is super important too.

While accurate shot is worth the change of one, the early round attacker is Maul anyways. You will always go first with Maul when you win init (outside of maybe round 1-2 or after he's dead. But yes, I would make the change to get an accurate shooter in there :)

This is almost the exact squad we tested with in playtesting and it was very solid, but not overpowering).

Exactly. Im talking about having that threat before Maul is on top of the enemy. Once Maul is in there - it's him first ll the way.
