I'd like to open this topic up to discuss what everyone thinks made the biggest impact in each faction in this last set, including the Battle of Theed set, and to see what kind of squads people are expecting to see at Gencon next year?

OR is going to be showing up a lot more. Between the Gencon win, and now the great shooter support and the beat they have in Thon, it will be interesting.
Sith is going to be fun with Atton, Kaan, and Traya. Maul will be pretty nasty as well. Some fun squad to play around with, right now I'm liking Kaan in a Sith Sorcery squad or a Revan Swap squad.
The new Sep tricks will be key in diversifying the squads that show up. Rune is especially a nice support piece.

Don't discount the Vong anymore, because they've got some great new pieces and some solid movement breakers. As an indication, look at the Top 8 Championship squads this year: a decent R&R Vong squad would smoke the OR championship squad, it would beat Solo Charge, and it would cause some serious headaches for Yobuck.

OR and Sith are some of my favorites now though. Oh, and I like the new Mace....

OR and sith both got big boosts. zannah probably being the biggest add. I wouldn't count out a vong slayer squad, those guys with speed 8 and greater mobile can jack up some Jedi in a hurry. And with their evade they can make it across the map without too much worry
